"Go after hours. We had to walk in, but there was no one on the beach. Wonderful view. Warm water."
"My first time at Lake Barkley Beach and I had a great time. We bbqed and played on the beach with the kids. Plenty of space, lots of trash cans, bathrooms, & side walks you can walk your pets or just want to take stroll near the water. Great scenery the only thing I would change if I could would to have them clean up the beach from all the sticks and branches. I moves so many out the way just in our little section alone where we was hanging out. I'd go back just wish wasn't as many branches and such on the beach. Closes at 6!"

"Nice public beach with grassy areas for grilling in a state park. Posted closing time is 6 p.m. which is kinda early tho. We were there from 4 to 5 p.m. on a Saturday and there were only 3 other people in the water."
"Nice public access beach with bathhouse and volleyball court. Next to the beach are picnic areas and behind the beach are several trees for having lunch underneath. There is direct access to the shoreline from the lake. Ample parking and a nice view."
