"The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was visiting from Arizona and it sounds like that's just the way things are done in this part of Texas but I wasn't a big fan of having to buy liquor in a packaged deal to get the bottle that I wanted. I feel like it's a way of guaranteeing they move volume. The bottle I purchased is kind of rare to find so I guess they also do it to ensure people don't come in and buy all the rare bottles and then turn around and resell them!! But as I understand it this is not the only store that does this practice. So I guess it's a "this side of Texas thing"."

"I recently re-discovered Lucky’s Liquor. I have driven by this location at least twice a week for years now and never stopped. I stoped in a few weeks back and since then I’ve been back 4 times. The staff are great, the offerings of bourbon are wonderful and you can actually buy the allocated stuff without having to give up your left kidney. My bank balance is not happy I found this place but my liquor cabinet and I am. Happy Drinking"
