"Simply gorgeous views of the river, very rich in history and in getting away from hustle and bustle."
"One of the best RV campgrounds in the Midwest. The people who work here are top notch. Everything is clean and neat. The staff is helpful and friendly. They make you feel at home."
"Excellent clean park! Grassy, shady tree-filled park. Blacktopped. Full hookups, laundry, showers. Overlooking the Mississippi River. COE needs to trim along the banks for a better water view. It is an old fort too, so historic views, overlooks, playground, picnic areas, shelter houses, historic museum to tour, all just a short jaunt up a nice paved road or on the blacktop trail provided. Fire rings provided. Good place for walking around the park area safely."
"Wonderful little campground! Right on the Mississippi river overlooking Missouri. Clean spaces, friendly camp host. The actual park is very nice as well. Lots of civil war memorabilia, a museum and a playground. Clean and nice! Museum is very neat as well."
"This is one of the most beautiful and well kept parks we have ever been too. The landscape is well maintained while the camping spots are paved with an adjacent gravel spot that has a picnic table and fire pit. We was in site 31 and had a beautiful view of the Mississippi River. The nearby park is just a gorgeous and has a lost of historic information along the paved walking paths. You are about a hour away from Sikeston, MO where Lambert’s Cafe is and 30 minutes from Union City, TN where Discovery Park of America is located. If you are in the area camping this is where you need to be."
