"**update: I was contacted personally by Dr. Coats himself after making a complaint in an email. He kindly extended my prescription and apologized for the situation. Dr. Coats has always been very kind to me and my family. I didn’t get good customer service. Not sure if the lady was having a bad day or just in a hurry to get home. I was asking for my prescription because I wanted to order cheap glasses from Zenni Optical. I have no eye insurance and can not afford another exam. She stated there was nothing she could do for me because my prescription was old and she couldn’t give it to me. My glasses are broke and I cannot afford another exam and another expensive pair of glasses. It was just horrible all the way around. She then proceeded to hang up on me. They’re usually really nice people but I guess I caught them on a bad day."
