"Dr. Julie Guess is top-notch and always friendly and professional; if it wasn't for her excellent care for my knees, I wouldn't be able to walk. Thanks girl"
"The office manager at this office is rude and has no concern for the patients. My mother was scheduled for surgery and the doctor who was to perform the surgery was suddenly unable to perform surgery. The only communication came when my 77 year old father would call looking for answers. The pleasant ARNP Stacey was no longer able to answer questions. Instead he was referred to a Crystal Knight, who proceeded to yell at him on the phone for calling for information. His 77 year old wife has been in pain and unable to walk since March 22. We had a diagnosis and the only possible way to alleviate her pain was surgery, but he was being told by this Crystal with a God complex that it would be done in her time. When we went to get Mom's records(45 minute trip with my mom in tow to sign for them----in constant pain), we were told they would get to them sometime and call us to return to pick them up but it wouldn't be today. It was not until I informed them I would contact a patient advocate that I got to meet this Crystal face to face and, true to my dad's report, she is by far the rudest healthcare provider I have ever met, and I worked in a Psychiatric Hospital for 25 years. She has no compassion, no communications skills, and no desire to do the best for the patient. We have retrieved mom's records and are pursuing avenues to deal with this "Healthcare Professional." I would never recommend this office to anyone although should Dr. Burkett and Stacy decide to work somewhere else, I would gladly take my parents to see them as patients."
"In August I was in a car accident. I had a broken radius. It didn't require surgery and was referred to Julie Guess, ARPN. She gave excellent care. In December I fell and rebroke the radius and broke the ulna. Julie reviewed the xrays with orthopedic surgeon. It was decided that I would need surgery. All my questions were answered. I was treated with respect and would definitely return there if I needed orthopedic care."
"First this office smells like a bar. I am allergic to cigarette smoke and the smell is so bad I had a migraine. The doctor I saw was Dr McLaughlin. He had poor bedside manners and was rude. He gave me a paper with websites on it and told me to go "educate myself." Meanwhile I was still trying to talk to him and he was walking out the door. I was asking him a question and he had the door wide open and was in the hallway and basically half answered it and walked off. When you discuss that I need surgery I would like longer than 10min of your time...no I will not go back here. Ever."
