"My wife went to this place for alcohol treatment. A 72 hour hold. She went in voluntarily. Issue number one, the weekends don't count. Issue number two the intake took a unreasonable amount of time to start. Issue number three they decided she didn't need medications prescribed by her long list of doctors. Issue number four she was denied the use of her nebulizer. Issue number five the two extra days were not covered by her insurance. Now they want her to pay $1900.00 and they are herasing us for their deceptive practice. They can pry that 2k out of my cold dead hands. Also she didn't feel safe there. Don't go there for your safety. Go to anywhere else"

"**ACTIVE DUTY BEWARE** * I want to go ahead and preface this review with the techs and nurses in the military unit 1E are exceptional people. They deserve 10/10 for patient care, and being there for you and getting to know you as people. They have no control over when you are released or how you are treated as far as meds and therapy. Shout out to Jess, Tim, Tyler, Shannon, Tiffany, and Greg specifically. They made this experience better.* I was self-referred for mental health issues specifically SI. They mislead you at Ireland on Fort Knox and tell you it’s a 4-5 day stay. My goal was to find a medication that would help me with debilitating brain fog and depression. By day 6 I was ready to go and continue treatment at home. BUT OH NO. You cannot just leave whenever you want. I asked to leave on a Thursday to see my brother who I hadn’t seen in 4 years. They claimed Active Duty cannot just leave and we need to be seen 24 hours later at Ireland Army Health BH (which I could have done Friday). The active duty liaison is useless just a FYI and she doesn’t know the rules. When I asked for active duty policies and regulations, they could not provide them to me. I was held here against my will through the weekend and when I got upset at the doctor on Saturday, he threatened me with a further 72 hour hold. At this point I was self-referred, stable on meds, cooperative and went to almost every group when able. When I released Monday, he still claimed it was against medical advice even though I had been stable and in good spirits for almost a week. I was out processed in less than 2 hours. Why I couldn’t have left the week prior is beyond me. They didn’t care my spouse works and I have 2 little kids at home that needed their mom. The medical staff just wants your money. The 2 therapist were both CPS workers and they are useless. One told another patient that they would have to have someone from his chain of command go through his off-post house and check for alcohol. That is ILLEGAL without a search warrant so for them to be advising that or using it as a scare tactic is disgusting. There is no set curriculum and the classes are all random and unhelpful. We had a Nurse Practitioner one night go off in group therapy for 40 min about her own issues with her family and health problems. Like am I a therapist? No. I have already set up an appointment to speak to patient advocacy and legal about this facility. I have also let all my commands up to GO level know how unhelpful this was and recommend active duty looks for another facility to send their soldiers. Stop giving this place your money. I will never come back."

"This experience has been horribly terrible. I do honestly have to say the nurses were amazing.... and caring overall. Do not go here if your active duty im telling you they will keep you for no reason just for monetary purposes. The doctor will keep you here purposely to milk the insurance and I am a prime example of this occurance. I came in under a suicidal ideation. It was a bad night going through a divorce. This is typical. I was there for 72 hours and told the doctor I'm completely OK and had no suicidal thoughts of harm. He denied my release immediately so I was held against my decision literally for roughly 4 more days. The really interesting part about all of this is the doctor didn't say why he denied my release. I'm going for money since I have tricare. I'm not kidding when I say this I gained more severe mental damage being in this facility than before I had depression. That is terrible overall. I do plan on hiring a lawyer since this idiot kept me when I told him I wanted to be released and he denied me. Caused a major mental strain on me and severe anxiety of not having rights which is completly wrong. You need to be very careful about this place they will feed off of your insurance and attempt to keep you here. They will not provide you active duty discharge rights.... They will not provide you refusal to stay in care. Many Grey areas it's all about money. Dr. Sajid will only spend maybe 2 minutes with you. He won't even know you as a person but he will keep you there in the facility which is not lawful. I went through this and was very frustrating. I will be filing a suit against this company for there practice as we as active duty have no rights. I highly recommend looking for a excellent doctor especially for vets or active duty but do not come home. Again nursing staff was more than excellent the doctor is only in it for the money. I was admitted for a suicidal ideation, the one nurse that came in my room at night talked to me is the only one that cared and she was excellent. The doctor will not care I mean this. This is why I'm pushing legal action as he held me against my will, with no reason at all. The group sessions are good but the nurses are the best about this place, I still strongly recommend do not come here due to false advertising , all about insurance money........ I Should have been released after 72 hours I was held 7 days for no reason, after I repeatedly told them I'm completely fine. I hope this gives you a idea of what you'd be in for. There is No discharge rights documentation as well. This is why I'm hiring a lawyer. It's entrapment basically. don't 2nd guess this review. People have rights weather your a civilian or active duty. I have more ptsd from this facility than prior to coming here. That is not acceptable. It's a shame honestly."

"Holding my son from me after 4 days. His psychologist and I both agreed he can be monitored at home. Told the Dr I wanted him released early. He said if I do he will issue a 72 hrs hold and the weekend don't count? I have taken weeks off work to help my son. He will do better at home. Never will we reach out and come back to this place. Do not take your kids here!!!"

"I went to Lincoln Trail behavioral hospital for detox after being addicted to suboxone for 17 years. They cut me off cold Turkey which caused severe withdraws and would not let me sign myself out. I was assaulted by a male tech who worked there which separated my shoulder from my collar bone then was given 2 shots of something that caused complete memory loss and bodily functions. Was released the following day and allowed to drive 1.5 hours home in which I dont even remember the whole trip and had memory loss for 3 days after the incident. I am in the process of filing a law suit on them right now!"
