"I danced with this studio for 4 years, and it was probably the worst decision I could make. From the very start it was awful. I was bullied constantly for the way my body looked, and the teachers never did anything about it, even when they saw it happen. Favoritism and bias is everywhere, if the teacher doesn't like you, you're never going to get feedback or any help at all. Out of the 3 teachers I had, Cassidy was the only one who really helped me, who actually seemed to care about me. The enviornment is so toxic, especially in the ballet classes. I would come home crying each day because the bullying was so bad. It had such an effect on my mental health that I still struggle with body image and self confidence. United Talent praises their "inclusive and family like atmosphere", but I never experienced any of that. I was constantly left out, ignored, and felt like no one wanted me there. I know I'm not the only one who experienced this, and the other former dancers I talked to went through the same thing. I only wish I had left sooner, the bullying I experienced there still affects me today. I used to love dance, but by my second year, I dreaded going to classes, and dance was not fun anymore. If your child is not friends with the main group of kids, then they will most likely get left out and bullied. The teachers do not care. I genuinely hope things are better now than they were when I left in 2021, but from what I've heard, it's not. If you want to send your child here, be prepared to drop hundreds of dollars per month and 3000 dollars per year for the preforming arts company, and possibly some bullying and body shaming. Everyone has a different body shape and everyone learns at a different pace than others. It took a lot of confidence to write this, because I have never truly talked to anyone about what it was like dancing there. I hope that by sharing my experience here will caution others from enrolling their child into this program, so they do not have to go through what I went through. Again, I truly hope things are better now, because no child should be constantly bullied by the way they look or their dancing ability."

"Not only did I take gymnastics from United Talent as a child, I now work here! We have a large variety of different skills and age groups with a very small coach to athlete ratio. Each child gets a “one on one” experience. Working here is just as fun as it was when I took classes!"
