"I caught a head cold or sinusitis and the normal course leads to a secondary infection of bronchitis so I like to get prescription medicine to head it off at the pass. We are from PA and were visiting family. Called a few other urgent care locations and they did not take out of state insurance. I was very satisfied with this location. They accepted our Aetna select PPO insurance. There was a reasonable wait to see the doctor. Once in he took his time to understand the symptoms and prescribed exactly what I needed to knock out the infection and feel better. If I ever need urgent care while visiting family in the area I would return here. Very professionally run. Very nice reception. One thought for improvement. I was able to find it on Google maps but once to the location I kept missing the sign outside. You may want to add signage on the front over the Thompson's pharmacy door for your clinic. I finally happened to see the sign in the parking lot."

"With the several positive reviews this place has, I would have expected better service from the walk-in doctor. However, I wouldn't recommend this place. I do not know the doctor's name, but he was an older man. I was diagnosed with strep, though the doctor only saw a "flash" of the line for a positive test, and I presented no other symptoms, other than a sore throat when swallowing. However, this is not the worst part of the experience. The doctor caused me pain on three instances. First, when he looked into my ear with a tool that contains a light. He shoved it into my ear without caution, causing me to physically pull away in pain. I said it hurt, and the doctor said, "well, it shouldn't have." Then shoved it in a second time, causing the same pain. The third instance, was when the doctor insisted on pressing on my jaw joints to "check for TMJ clicking." I had already informed the doctor that I had been diagnosed with TMJ and deformed jaw joins, and was seeing an oral surgeon, who is a specialist, and was treating the matter. The doctor pressed very hard, causing me pain, from which I again flinched away from. There was no reason for the doctor to even press on my jaw joints, given that he was so certain I had strep throat, which would not be related to TMJ, at all. I would not consider this doctor to be a competent man in his field, and would recommend traveling to Danville to visit their walk-in clinic. Or literally anywhere else. The receptionist was great, though, very nice and fast. Only good thing about the whole experience."

"So thankful and grateful for this local walk in clinic. They saw all 3 of our toddlers on a minute’s notice on two separate days while we were traveling for the holidays 12 hours from home. They were extremely kind, thorough, and answered all of our questions. Highly recommend!"

We have always had responsive and accurate care without having to make an appointment. Staff make it feel comfortable to go to the doctor and explain things clearly. They discuss what is taking place and make sure you feel comfortable with the medical decisions that is taking place."
