"Such a SCAM! Do not be fooled by this BUSINESS! They are exactly that a business in it to make as much money as possible. They are a fear mongering organization. If you have unlimited funds and don’t mind spending an exorbitant amount on vaccines that you can get elsewhere for half the price (or less) or being scared into getting vaccines you probably do not need then I suppose passport health is the place for you. If you are in Lexington Walgreens on E High Street or Lexington Infectious Disease consultants offer the same vaccines for less than half the price. As a public health worker, I was shocked and appalled at the fear mongering that took place during my appointment. I went in knowing what vaccines I needed and wanted and had many others pushed on me and not only pushed but literally told I would die if I contracted these things. They try to push you to get everything. Their prices are wild. Please do your own research and consult your doctor. You can also do research on what outbreaks their may currently be in the area you are going and what risk you may be at. Covid-19 brought so much misinformation and disinformation to healthcare industry and it is really sad that a business is out here spreading both of these to make extra money because the community has been informed on these topics well enough. Use this business at your own risk and be prepared for a huge bill and possibly more vaccines and medications and supplies than you need (or could get cheaper elsewhere). For example the Ranger Ready sprays can be purchased from amazon for a fraction of the cost."

"I'm gonna be completely real with you. This place is essentially a scam. TL;DR This is not a healthcare establishment. It's a business that uses fear-mongering to push REALLY overpriced vaccines. Look elsewhere. Here's the long story. My husband and I are taking a month-long trip around the world at the end of the year. I, personally, have only left the country twice in my entire life. He's also only left a few times. We're inexperienced at this level of travel. During my research to prepare for the trip, I discovered that we might need travel vaccines. I wanted more information about that, so I googled "travel vaccines Lexington" and found Passport. We made an appointment. First of all, I thought this place was associated with the Kentucky health insurance provider Passport. It's not. It's a business. Thinking that was my first mistake. My second mistake was keeping the appointment after the sales rep on the phone wouldn't tell us any vaccine pricing whatsoever pre-appointment. My third mistake was trusting the information we received at the appointment. We are traveling to Europe, Africa, and Asia during our trip. The sales rep we spoke to prepared a 30-40 minute "discussion" and information packet about the dangers of these places in what I later realized was an intense, fear-based sales tactic that greatly exaggerated our need for certain vaccines. At the end of the discussion, we chose vaccines based on the information she'd just given us. This selection included between 5-7 vaccines per person. Then, she handed us an estimate for $6400. That's six thousand four hundred dollars. My husband and I immediately recoiled in shock. I did not expect a total like that in my absolute wildest dreams. I told the sales rep we couldn't afford that. She then encouraged us, as a predator might, to "split the payment on multiple credit cards." I refused to do that. However, in the previous 30-40 mins, she had intimated that two of the vaccines she mentioned "might be" required for the places we were going. In a decision of desperation, we purchased those two vaccines for $1244. When I got home, I did my own research. I discovered that the vaccines listed on our estimate were double (and sometimes triple) their average price; but worse than that, I discovered just how much fear mongering had happened during the appointment. After paying twice as much for the vaccines themselves, I learned that it is very unlikely that these vaccines will be required for where we are traveling. They're only required under very specific circumstances. I also learned that the additional vaccines the sales rep had suggested to us were also largely (if not completely) unnecessary. First time travelers: do your own research. Travel to an actual clinic for your vaccines - IF and only if you determine they're actually necessary. Get pricing beforehand. Don't let these Passport people pressure you. Don't lose $1200+ of your money because of their manipulation. Please. Learn from our mistakes."
