"I have never had any type of operation/ procedure in my adult life... So obviously when I found out I had to have a procedure on my right thumb (for trigger thumb) I was quite nervous and anxious. Hannah.. Dr. Wigton and there was also another very kind lady that day during my procedure... they took time to explain everything in detail to me before the day of my procedure and the day of my actual procedure... It helped me to feel much more comfortable and at ease. They continued to make certain that I felt comfortable and did not have any other questions or concerns. I luckily have some very good friends (a couple) that took me to the procedure even though I would have been able to drive myself... Dr. Wigton was very kind to them as well... both of them were actually able to go into the procedure room with me. They Alexa for music or podcasts or whatever I wanted to hear during the procedure... very comforting.. The only thing I had any issue with was the shot to numb my thumb and surrounding area.. but I HATE NEEDLES... the lovely young lady that did the shot was very kind and kept apologizing for my pain. My procedure only lasted maybe 10 minutes. Later that night for maybe 3 hours my thumb really hurt.. but I was able to sleep quite well and even went back to work the next day with very minimal pain. I would recommend Beacon Orthopedics.. Dr. Wigton and his lovely staff to anyone needing any help whatsoever with hand issues.... I am very pleased. I plan to tell everyone about my great experience. Thank you all for being so kind and comforting to a 57 year old woman that was full of anxiety and fear you made me feel so comfortable and got rid of my fear."
