"I had the worse experience with Massac Memorial at the beginning of July 2023. I waited for a short time for the ER nurse to come in and get my vitals and check on my complaint. She told me the doctor would be in shortly, as there were no other patients. 4 hours later, I was annoyed and visited the nurses station with NOONE being there. All the lights were off in all the rooms. I went to the registration and the man told me to go to my room and someone would come in shortly. I waited another 30 minutes and left without being seen. They do not have good service and their motto "compassionate care, close to gome" is false. Not one person was compassionate. Tha KS to the discharge clerk for calling me the next day and checking on me and asking if i wanted to file a complaint. I hope they get everything under control."

"Recently visited Massac ER. Was seen by Dr Sprague and Samantha was my nurse. Can not say enough positives about my experience. The attention, quality of care and concern were second to none. I've been a fan of Massac for many years for those very reasons. We need to continue to support small town hospitals, like Massac, to ensure they stay viable. Im appreciative of all you folks do. Dr. Rotich and Dr. Walter's both respectful, kind and knowledgeable of my medical problem. The nursing staff at both the ER and clinic were kind and compassionate with me. I've never been treated like a number but instead a patient who they care for and wanted to see better. Both the hospital and the clinic are great assets to the community."
