"Had been sent to do X-rays for chiropractic purposes. Very rude radiologist (both) only to find out that the X-rays were of very poor quality and barely any relevant information for my Doctor Who has a specialization in radiology. Then I got clobbered by the bill for 45 percent of the cost that my insurance company would not pay yet the same insurance company paid two years ago for chiropractic X-rays for a different doctor. On top of that they don't take care credit which my usual hospital at Bapist and I MAC has always. I went there because they were close to where I work and the chiropractor has his office. I usually make the effort to stay with Baptist in Paducah just made the mistake. I have known people who lived here (I moved here from Chicago) who avoided the hospital at all cost calling it a morgue and butcher shop. I will never go there again even if I have to fight my way out of an ambulance and craw to Bapist health in Paducah"

"A decent enough place to go if you are in need of standard health care. However, if you find yourself in need of some form of specialty emergency care, be prepared to be transferred to a different facility. In that case, you may be better off driving yourself. There isn't always an ambulance available, though they do have a helipad for extreme cases"

"Please do not go here if you have important medical testing. They are a small hospital and are not equipped or experienced enough to deal with it. I should start by saying that I moved from a Chicago suburb this past summer and didn't realize i shouldn't go here. I figured if you offer the services, you should be professional about it. Wrong. In October, I was due for my mammogram and my RPN sent me here. I told her I needed a high level mammogram, due to abnormalities in my past mammograms and she said they were equipped. Technically, they are equipped but don't have experience. First of all, it took 2 weeks to get my results and it was by mail. Like why couldnt they give me a call? Back where I came from, they gave me results before I left the hospital. Then the radiologist freaks me out by telling me I'm going to have to go to Nashville, because biopsies are needed. When I saw the true professionals, they had to completely redo the mammogram because the one at Caldwell was done so poorly. So now I'm not only paying for a second mammogram, but I'm getting a lot of radiation. They also said they never saw a radiologist report written so poorly either. After a lot of undo stress and worry, not to mention a lot of money, no biopsies were even needed. Please if you need something important done, go to a bigger city."

"I visited the Caldwell County Medical Center yesterday. I accompanied my partner. He has a laceration on his left arm. My spouse and I were accompanied by our ADA Registered ESA dog. We were the only ones in the ER. We were checked in quickly and taken back to an exam room. There were objections from the staff regarding our K9 companion and I showed all the appropriate paperwork and documents to verify that he was indeed allowed to be in any medical facility seeing as he is a registered Support Animal (which is also written plainly on his collar). After the nurse cleaned the wound with saline she left to retrieve the doctor. The doctor, Dr. Robert Mitchell, refused to even enter the exam room to provide care. Stating that he had a fear of dogs. Upon our exit of the facility at that point, I made comment about leaving them a bad review. I was immediately met with a threat to call the police. We left the ER that night without receiving treatment. The wound is still open. I called the Kentucky state ombudsman to file an official complaint and was told to consult an attorney immediately. I do not recommend anyone to seek treatment or care from this facility because you will NOT recieve it if you are disabled and accompanied by a dog."
