"I had a major heart attack in Jan. 2020 and I could not have been taken to anywhere in the country that was better. They saved my life and helped me to get better and go on to live a brighter future. The Staff and everyone has always treated me well. It is a wonderful hospital and it is my preferred hospital whenever I have a need for their services."
"I just had my baby here this past week. The entire care team from nurses, doctors,SRNA,down to dietary staff were all friendly and kind. I felt so supported and had the best experience. They promoted rest and healing. They answered any concerns and made me feel safe and comfortable. I am so glad I chose this hospital and Dr Youkilis to deliver my baby. The only issues I had was with their billing department not billing my insurance correctly and the lab techs flipping on the lights with out warning and not announcing themselves properly. Baptist keep up the great work but maybe talk with your lab department about how to enter a patient room."
"Just had my second baby at Baptist health. Staff was all kind and accommodating. The food was not as tasty as last time but it got the job done. Rooms were clean and supplies were provided quickly."
"Great experience. I had a exploratory laparoscopy to check for endometriosis. The wait time was short and check-in was very easy. The nurses were WONDERFUL! They talked me through the process, showed me what meds I would be taking, etc. One nurse and I spoke about 80s music and old radio shows as I was being prepared. I felt at ease the entire time. Waking up, the nurses were very sweet. Helped me get up and walked with me to the car. Along with explaining everything needed to my grandmother in-law, who drove me."
"My friend was taken to Baptist Health ER for a possible stroke. She had already spent 2 wks in St. Joe, lexington but nothing was done about her confusion. The very reason that I took her there. Baptist was just as worried about her behavior as I was. It was obvious there was something wrong. The nurses were very nice and helpful. Her bed sheets were changed regularly and much effort was given to help keep her room clean. She was inpatient for almost 3 wks. She was served an ample amount of food and it was very good. The cafeteria was being run by Morrisons still but were losing their contract after 50 years of service. Shame. The cafeteria is very large with lots of seating. It's open to all personnel and guests of the hospital. The food is very good and reasonably priced. I stayed with her day and night until she was discharged and the nurses were very accommodating to me as well. She had a hospitalist during her stay that spent a long time listening to me explain the ways my friends behavior was different than her normal self. I've known this person all my life since I was 5 yrs old and I'm very familiar with her behavior. Its nice to find a Dr who's interested in including feedback and willing to take their time during her visits. God forbid I need a hospital but if I do, I'll request to go to Baptist Health."
