"I want to express my total thanks and gratefulness for all who have helped my son at the Cooper VA & Leestown VA. He is a spinal cord injury Vet, who received almost no care or concern at the Seattle VA. We moved out here because my sister said the VA in Lex was really good. It is superb. They have gone out of there way to help my son, with his wheelchair, with surgeryies, with meds, with everything. Thx go out to Dr. Wolf (SCI), Frances nurse in SCI; Lisa in PC & Dr. Goodsell. Enormous thx for his "outside" referrals & surgery on his achilles tendon. First time in 9 years that he can put his foot down on the floor and possibly walk on a walker when it heals. I am so grateful to so many who have gone out of their way to help him. Bless you all."
