"This review is for the VA Dental office located at this facility. I would like to give some recognition to Dr. Kelli Romond. I feel that as a former Special Forces soldier, I pay close attention to body language and mannerisms, which kept me alive through multiple deployments. From the moment I walked into her dental area, I could feel the positive energy. The longer I spent in there, the more I felt I was being treated by a true professional who enjoyed her job of helping others. Her team (I'm so sorry I forgot the dental hygienist name) worked flawlessly together. A true professional team that takes pride in what they do. It was noticed immediately and continued throughout the appointment. Excellent work, team! Never once have I been to a dental appointment and felt the personalities and positive, uplifting energy like this, Dr. Thank you for being the positive experience everyone should have when visiting the dentist. "This is one local branch of the Lexington VA hospital. The other one is downtown. THERE ARE NO EMERGENCY SERVICES AT THIS LOCATION! I did not need any emergency services. The facility is always clean and easy to access. There is someone sitting by the front door to give you directions to wherever you need to go. There is a nice cafeteria and store in the basement. There is a container outside of the main entrance for disposing of American flags should they become worn or damaged."

"I took my father to this VA facility in January 2022 for new hearing aids. They have never worked properly and it doesn’t matter whether he has them in or not, his hearing is almost non-existent. I have tried to contact the audiology department to reschedule another visit for him. After speaking to 4 different operators, all of whom said they would connect me to audiology, but would not share the number, I never spoke to the audiology department. That was after spending 45 minutes on the line. We plan on taking him to Audible for his hearing needs. The VA audiology receptionist was rude and curt when we did visit their office in January and then once again in February. I even returned to have a broken hearing aid dropped off in their drop-off box to be repaired. They were out to lunch and there were no envelopes to put the hearing aids in. Someone with the dept. came out into the reception area while I was waiting for their lunch break to end. I told her I needed an envelope for the drop-off box. She turned around and went back in to the office and never returned. I was dumbfounded. I hope to never have to deal with this facility again. My father, who is a 95-year old veteran, deserves the best treatment this country can provide. What a disgrace this facility is!"
