Reviews of A PLACE TO GROW CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER
"After moving to El Paso and needing to put my daughter in daycare, I was very hesitant on where to take her considering I was new to the area and she is my first child. After doing research on different daycares, this location really grabbed my interest. I took a tour of the facility and met some of the staff and automatically knew I wanted this to be the place that my daughter meets her first friends and learns from her first teacher. The staff made me feel very comfortable and at ease about leaving my daughter here while I went to work. I could not ask for a better daycare to take care of my sweet baby girl. Thank you."
"Totally recommend this daycare . My son was not talking when he first got to the daycare. But his teacher Miss Emily has an amazing natural approach was able to get him to learn and say his colors shapes numbers alphabet and many more things.. love my kids daycare Team A Place to Grow Pellicano."
"My boy has gone to A Place to Grow since he was 10 weeks old. We’ve had a great experience the last year he’s gone there. He loved his teacher Andrea and it gave me relief to know he was so well taken care of while we were away from him. He learned a lot and would come home doing things like sign language which we love!! Highly recommend"
"My 15 month year old had been attending A Place To Grow since she was 3 month old. The teachers and administrators have been outstanding with my child’s care. They always give me cuddle gram letting me know when they changed her what she ate and when she napped. If there are incidents they are quick to notify me about them. Just like school teachers have student to teach ratios they also have teacher to child ratios in place and do their best. I have nothing but great things to say about the management and staff. Thank you for watching over my little one. Keep up the great work A Place To Grow!!"
"My son was 1 when he started attending daycare at a place to grow on pellicano. He was starting to speak but not enough. Every time I picked him up from daycare he was starving and was dehydrated. He would literally slurp a bottle of water and we had to bring him food when we picked him up. He was always dirty, full of dirt and if he had little boogers, the would not wipe his nose. His little face was dirty and he was always sad and crying. I initially thought he wasn’t eating and crying because he was not used to the daycare, boy was I wrong! I looked for other daycares and all had a waitlist. I spoke to different parents while waiting for my baby outside, ALL the parents were on a waitlist and unhappy. They told me the kids were unhappy, and since they were older and able to speak; the kids told them the staff did not provide them with water and barely fed them. My son was bit by another toddler and I was not notified. I saw the bite when I was giving my baby a bath. The bite was deep and went through his skin. As per Texas law, I should’ve been notified the day of the incident and provided with an incident report. Another time, the Director, Valerie, almost gave me the wrong child (in front of other parents). She brushed it off and didn’t apologize. Furthermore, this daycare changed Directors at least five times while my baby was there. This daycare is beyond unprofessional and each Director blamed the other Directors for their shortcomings. The last week my son was there, they over charged our card knowing it was his last week and they have failed to give us a refund (it’s been months now). I have called time over time for the refund and they have given me all kinds of excuses and runaround. If you care for your children look for a different daycare. I wouldn’t take my time to write this long review if the daycare was halfway decent."
