""Male/father" role model projects? Really??!! That is insensitive. Not all kids have their father OR a male role model in their life. You can't assume that or just chuck it off as "oh its ok it can apply to whoever." Or as "oh it's okay they'll get over it, they don't know, you can use whoever." Whoever came up with these project ideas obviously didn't think them through!! I'm sure there isn't a "female/mother" role model project in the works, right?? Some kids don't have a mother or a female model in their lives either. Change the damn language of these damn projects. So much push for gender neutral tolerance and language now, and you guys pull this ?? Change it. It does affect them. And they notice more than we think or notice."
