"I was referred to Holly Woolsey at NCMG Charlestown by my Primary Care Physician for a psychiatric evaluation. It was my first experience with this and I went in with high hopes of finally receiving care that I’ve been needing for a long time. I could not feel more let down and defeated after this appointment and I recommend anyone with mental illness or needing psychiatric care to look elsewhere. It was a 35 minute drive for me, I was told to arrive at 9am to fill out paperwork for a 9:30 appointment. I arrived at 9:02, filled out paperwork and then sat in the waiting room until just after 10am. Then was taken to a room and sat for another 30 minutes- no one told me when or what to expect, how long to expect to be waiting. Just sat in a room with nothing. After an hour and a half of waiting in total, I went to the hallway to see if I could find anyone. At that time, Holly opened the door across from me and spoke to me with obvious annoyance and disregard, asking me what I needed and telling me to reschedule as I had clearly not allowed enough time for our appointment. I told her I had been waiting for an hour and a half and had another hour left but did have to leave by 11:30. I assumed a 3 hour time allotment would be plenty, as no one said anything otherwise. Maybe the time commitment was on me for not asking the right questions, but in the 60 second conversation I had with Holly in the hallway, I can say I will never be back. When I left and got back to the front desk, the receptionists did not even acknowledge me and carried on their conversations. Truly one of the most toxic and disheartening experiences I’ve had in a practice that supposedly tends to mental health. Look elsewhere."

"I've had been going hear for more than 3 yrs. The last appointment I went to while I was on the room where they take your weight blood preasher I wasn't trying to hear but there's no way I couldn't the Dr was talking to a couple other nurses and was talking about a patient. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. They were all laughing The Dr even called the patient crazy. I was so upset. If she would talk about one what does she say about me? I wanted to ask her when she walked in the room with a big smile on her face but I couldn't because I have to have my medicine"

"I travel 2 hours with a friend to come to this clinic. Both of us were Olivia‘s patients at a previous clinic. When Olivia changed locations we were willing to drive whatever distance it took to continue being her patients. She is the best nurse practitioner. Olivia is very compassionate and thorough. Olivia listens to all of your concerns. The atmosphere is amazing from the time you walk in and meet the receptionist at the front. She is very welcoming. This continues the entire visit.You are actually treated as a real person here,and not pushed out the door as a number.can’t say enough good about North Clark medical. In Charlestown. Great move Olivia."
