"If I could give a zero I would!! I have been here 24 hrs and no absolutely nothing. Been sitting in the cardio unit with NO cardiologist to tell me anything. Had test early in morning and no one but the nurse has told me anything. Biggest cluster ever!! I won’t be seeing any of these cardiologists for follow up. Heck they can’t see you at the hospital why should I go see them. I recommend you do NOT go here!!"
"The surgical doctor and icu nursing staff were top notch…we could not have asked for more knowledgeable or empathetic care. However, the RN staff once released from icu(with the exception of two), was rude and dismissive. If you needed something and interrupted social time at the nurses station, look out. Would have hoped for a more professional facility given the seriousness of our family member’s condition."
"This place almost killed my mother after she had a Angioplasty done! My mother was in unbearable pain she kept asking to have her back rubbed and they took forever coming to her needs the patient care nurse refused to do anything for my mom when my sister kept telling him my mom was in pain my mom almost died the next day coming home this place doesn't care about people"
"Wild that in the year 2023 they still require you to PHYSICALLY MAIL things to them. They have MyChart, but like, not really? You can do copay there but any large bills are phone or paper, or pay the lump sum online on a poorly made site. Financial assistance? Pop your application in the mail and wait! They won't buy you a stamp though! So if you're too poor to pay your bill they want you to spend money SENDING THEM A PIECE OF PAPER THAT IS 100% AVAILABLE ONLINE. Oh, also, if a doctor reschedules someone 4 times, do they even actually work there?? I feel like stretching my first referral appointment for 5 months is pushing it a little far. I've absolutely had a couple of good experiences here but they in NO WAY negate the amount of bad. Sure is clean though. ✨EDIT✨ Oct 13, '23: oh man, remember that referral from MARCH I had?? Just got a call today to schedule it :) for reference: that is approaching 8 (EIGHT) MONTHS of them telling me to live in a severe amount of pain before they will bother to see me. Eight months! Anyway, I got my procedure done elsewhere (OUTSIDE of UofL) like 3 months ago; absolutely SICK of waiting. Apparently even though the referral came from, and results were sent to, UofL, they won't even update themselves on what's going on, so they're trying to get me to come in for the same procedure but with a UofL "doctor". The nurse who called me got my name wrong enough twice that I wasn't sure they were even trying to reach me, specifically. If you need care fast you're better off leaving the state than using this dumpster fire."
"Wish I could give this place NO stars. For the “Heart Hospital Of Louisville” they sure don’t care about their heart patients. My dad was admitted on a Monday morning for heart problems and has only seen the doctor TWICE in 3 days. Words cannot express how frustrated I am with the nurses and staff at this hospital. My dads heart rate has been around 140/150 for hours and the nurses haven’t even checked on him! When we tell the nurses at the desk they say they’ll be in but stay at their seat. What stinks even more is I know this hospital bill is going to be absolutely outrageous for sitting in a room and BARELY RECEIVING SERVICE. So upset and mad."
