"Extremely disappointed would be mild, it was a complete waste of time going here, IMO felt they really didn't care. Last year I switched to a very large Insurance carrier & went through some big changes in my health care. This insurance wanted me to try the Rising Sun Medical office so I did. Insurance feels it would benefit me to see one doctor, not several Dr's all over. I explained everything about this & my medical conditions when the appointment was made & was told how caring Nurse Craig was & that she would help me. She WAS nice, yet she changed a medication without writing a single prescription??? then said she would have to refer me elsewhere for my medications but had no idea where?? She told me that I would need to talk to my insurance to see where to be referred??? I have never had an experience like this at a Dr's Office. I did contact my insurance company as she said to do & was told "that there was a doctor in the office & that Dr SHOULD write the medications the nurse practitioner would not" the insurance had never heard of stuff like what I was told & experienced here. When I called to explain what the insurance company had said,, I felt the receptionist was not honest about the doctor in the office stating he was not seeing any new patients, I find this odd because I personally know 2 people who have become new patients here recently! And IT SAYS ONLINE EVERYWHERE THAT HE IS TAKING NEW PATIENTS (later my insurance was greatly upset by this!) Also in the waiting room, a patient who talked to me here, discouraged me & told me prior to even seeing the nursee for my first appointment, that the NP Craig would not help. I never mentioned my medical conditions to this patient, but she stated she was only going there until she could find another doctor, that Nurse Craig would not help her, kind of strange I had the exact same experience, I wonder how many people this happens to? I do not understand why quality health care from a Doctor who actually cares is so hard to find,, I have stayed with every Dr I have ever seen for years,, but things have changed. How sad are the times we live in."

"I’ve been with Dr Walcott for close to 5 years now an he is great he takes the time to listen to you an really does care, I’ve had some bad Drs that will just write things down on their papers they have an won’t even be looking at while your talking !! Dr Walcott doesn’t do that at all and I REALLY wished I found him way before I did !! An I will say to all you females out there that don’t want a male Dr this Dr is different he makes you feel comfortable talking about whatever an jokes with you to even make you feel calmer or not more embarrassed lol, I really wish that there was more Drs like Dr Walcott!!"
