"Friendly service, very talented crew that work magic on antique and various types of furniture."
"I love this place. They used to have the barn with $5 yd fabric and I would go and wander through the barn because I never had enough money to purchase fabric at regular prices. Last time I was there (several years ago) they had gotten rid of their fabric barn. When I expressed my disappointment, Mr. Dailey told me to look through the store and whatever I wanted he would make me a deal I could afford. I picked out a fabric and he made me a deal I couldn't refuse... then he threw in several extra yards because he was afraid I didn't buy enough for my project. A+ service."
"My wife and I visited the store and were looking for fabric to reupholster some dining room chairs. That is the nicest owner/person I have ever dealt with. He was friendly, helpful, patient and a joy just to talk to. We ended up buying fabric for several projects that I have started in my retirement. John"
"Always enjoy visiting Dailey's Drapes and Upholstery to see what he gas that's a new trend, in draperies and such. This visit was to have an antique rocker re upholstered, can't wait to see it. Always enjoy talking to Mr. Dailey."
"My wife and I had gotten fabric from the store previously to the visit on Saturday, 24 February 2018. We pulled up, and on the door was a sign that said "Effective May 1, we are open on Saturday br appointment only." No year, so we assumed it meant 2018. We went in and were greeted by a gentleman, presumably the owner. At that point we started looking for a fabric for a historic trouser. Not finding what we needed, we described to him what we were looking for. He showed us to the back showroom, and I, since I did not have the pattern dimensions memorized, began to pull the bookmark up on my phone. I agree it is rude to carry on conversations in person, and on the phone, but I was trying to find the example to show him. I asked the cost, and he proceeded to say he cannot do business if someone is on their phone, when he is busy, and when he is only open on Saturday by appointment. At that point, I apologized for not having the dimensions memorized, and proceeded to the door. He led us, and as we approached the door, he stated "here's the door." Needless to say, especially since we try to use local business, we will never shop there again. Customer service is what sets in person stores from online vendors. If he had told us the sign referred to a change in hours of operation effective 2017, we would have returned another time. We were in the store about 15 minutes total, and not one comment on it from him."
