"I went in with my wife and children, about 30 mins before close, looking for a sofa sectional. We definitely got judged by our "style of dress," because nobody offered any help and barely gave us a greeting. We are from rural kentucky and probably don't match their standard of typical clientele. We already expected that reaction though. The furniture was also unimpressive for the all the hype. Pottery Barn seems to appeal more to aesthetics rather than to comfort and quality. Anyways, Garrett's Furniture is 10 mins down the road from us in Hodgenville, and I bet they'll be plenty excited to do business with us!"
"If I could rate this company any lower I would. Furthermore, if I had looked up their rating, I NEVER would have made my purchase from them. I purchased an entire bedroom set from them in early July; paid up front (as required) and the furniture was not delivered on the original delivery date, but over a month later. When their delivery company finally delivered the furniture, they “lost” the hardware to assemble the bed. So now I had a bed with no hardware so the pieces were just laying on the bedroom floor. What did the store do when I called to let them know my bed couldn’t be assembled due to their company losing the hardware? They offered to just order the hardware and it would arrive whenever it arrived. No expedite, no sense of urgency whatsoever. One of the store associates actually told me to just reject the delivery. What?! After you have my money?! NO! So I had to wait another Week until the hardware was delivered at which point my husband and I assembled the bed. As if we hadn’t had enough bad luck with them, we also discovered two sections of the canopy were broken. So here we are yet a month after the bed was delivered, waiting for those pieces to be delivered. This place has ZERO customer service. Do not buy from them. They are all promises and friendliness while getting your money (in my case, thousands of dollars) and then you’re on your own! I will never purchase a thing from them again. Not even a pillow!!"
"Ordered a 60inch dining table in February. Was given a delivery date of March 3-23. Called to check on the timeline through customer service to be told that our ticket was not entered. Waited a week still nothing on our tracking number. Went into the store for another update was told they will email the warehouse and should hear something back. Still no follow up. Called back and was told I’ll email them again and yet silly me nobody reached back out to us. Called customer service again and was told there are no notes on our account and that we should hear something by Tuesday. I just checked our tracking number and now it says end of April. Not holding my breath. Customer service is nonexistent and the staff Chris and Jessica do not care to even follow up with you. But they will take your money and order but you may not receive your product. Bravo Chris and Jessica great customer service."
"I am from Indianapolis and worked directly with Dan from the Louisville, KY Pottery Barn. Dan was more than exceptional with the support we needed. I had a convoluted situation with two very expensive large Eagan mirrors where I sent my husband to Dan’s store to pick the mirrors up, only to discover both mirrors were slightly different. Dan provided *amazing* customer service for us. We were able to return the mirrors at the Indianapolis store (which, customer service there was not the greatest). Dan assisted us in purchasing the correct matching mirrors and had them delivered to our house. This whole process was almost a full 7 month process from start to finish. His support provided us comfort because these mirrors are very expensive and a large purchase for us. Dan made sure he made everything RIGHT for us as customers. He went above and beyond during this entire process. His communication was on point, he made us feel more like a friend than just a customer. His back and forth he did for us with the customer service lines took so much off our shoulders. I cannot say enough about how much he helped us, his positive attitude, his willingness to go above and beyond, and the fact that he remembered us and kept us in the loop of all transactions and back and fourths just made this experience so much nicer. His store he runs is also the cleanest Pottery Barn we have ever shopped at. If it wasn’t for Dan, I would have not ended up purchasing these mirrors. Dan saved us from a totally disastrous experience with Pottery Barn and now I am proud to say that I am a regular customer. I cannot wait to make another drive down to Dan’s Pottery Barn store in Louisville, KY all the way from Indianapolis, IN to give Dan a huge hug as a I feel like he is a newly found friend to my family.
