"Decided to come here for their Valentine’s dinner. We had reservations and had to wait a little while for a table, which wasn’t a big issue. Once seated they had a singer and band play a few songs. It was really nice. For the appetizers we ordered the gumbo and beignets with a chicken tender. Both were pretty good. I enjoyed the flavor of the shrimp in the gumbo. Our entrees were the pecan crusted gulf fish and lamb chops with mashed potatoes. I’ve never had pecan crusted fish but it was very flavorful and cooked perfect.The andouille Mac and cheese was good but the portion was pretty small for the price. The lamb chops and mashed potatoes were delicious. Didn’t care so much for the banana foster but the strawberry shortcake was decent. Service was superb and very tentative. Would definitely come back."

"This place is pretty good. Came for dinner and got the crabmeat cheesecake, the snapping turtle soup, the lobster dome soup, and the bananas foster. Everything was fine but I’d only get the snapping turtle soup and the bananas foster again. The lobster soup was good for a soup but I prefer a more creamy, bisque-like texture. Service has its faults - having to ask for a spoon for my soup and not having prompt water refills shouldn’t be expected at a white tablecloth dinner"

"Dynamite atmosphere and eloquent ambience! However, the food was cold and lacked seasoning and taste. Just average and very expensive to be that tasteless!!! Food looked wayyyy better than it taste! Staff provided excellent service unmatched to the lack luster food. The drink were not good either!"
