"The first room we checked into had a strong gas odor. The front desk person apologized and set us up in another room and said he would have this looked into. He was so helpful. The smell was better, but still dated. We decided to extend the room by a day for convenience, but the new front desk person was belligerent and completely condescending. She told me she talked to me that way because she thought I was an idiot. I am not stupid. I am capable of checking into and out of a hotel and traveling. I am an educated person. Regardless, nobody should be treated this way. I would not recommend this hotel."

"There are only two things I want in a good hotel, a nice room with hot water and good sleep. I got the nice room and hot water but I got only three hours of sleep in eight hours. During my stay guests on my floor screamed and made tons of noise from 10PM until midnight and only stopped briefly after my second call to the front desk actually had some results. I then got exactly one hour of sleep until those same guests started up again and began including slamming doors until three in the morning. For a hotel that is advertised as three stars it had the sound deadening of a two star hotel if not worse and despite the nice looking room I will say it was one of the single worst experiences I’ve had in a hotel. Will not be returning."

"Service simply is not a priority. There may or may not be bottles of water in your room, some of my party had them & some did not, on the first day. This is only a first day thing, there are no bottles of water after that. Only paper cups in the room and those are not replenished regularly. If you have dentures, a night guard, appliance, etc. the cleaner will eat through them in a day. I'm not a fan of the open closet. Ironing board occupies the same space as you're hanging clothes and there are a very limited number of hangers available. They do not have any kind of to-go containers on breakfast. If you are not going to have time to sit down, don't pay for it because there's nothing you're going to be able to bring with you. And you're going to get a shoulder shrug when you ask about it, it's clearly not *their* problem. The desk chair is one of the most comfortable I've found in a hotel. If I was rating only on that it would be five star."

"Very nice, clean, lots of stores and restaurants around. Small bar in the lobby. Front desk was super friendly. Shower was very clean. Bathroom fan did not work, but I will let them know about it. Would stay here again."

"I absolutely love this hotel! The staff is very welcoming. Housekeeping definitely gets a 10/10 from me! I’ve never been to a hotel where housekeeping took their job so serious. The rooms are very clean and fully stocked daily. The beds and room is very comfortable. I can’t forget the General Manager Ray, and Manger Ms Kim are both very welcoming and respectful. The hotel is surrounded by great restaurants/ great walking area. If you visit Houston or the surrounding areas please book this hotel!"
