"I have gotten pretty used to a third of the shelves being empty, especially in the laundry detergent and air freshener isles. The customer service however deserves negative stars...there were two, possibly three workers there and no other customers. I wasn't greeted (no big deal) or thanked when I checked out. What was extremely rude was that they acted as if I was an inconvenience. They continued to loudly talk to one another and when I said thanks, have a good night after taking my own receipt, since she had walked away while my card processed, she said nothing and rolled her eyes. I will absolutely drive out of my way to shop anywhere else bit this store again."
"I came in today and there was a worker named Tracy and he was being so polite to everybody that came in and out and not in front of anybody but just because and he went an extra step above and beyond just to help people out with certain things or it was just very heartwarming to see a young man behaving like that there should be more like him in the world especially in the retail business. Hey family Dollar you might wanna keep him and give him a raise!!! And I heard that he was going to be transferred over to the Taylor store and that's right by me and I couldn't be more happy to hear that!! I hope more workers take some pointers from him! Pointers on how to behave and how to interact with customers and not just because somebody's looking or being fake but because he genuinely cared and you could tell and that's what made it so heartwarming!!! There's a picture I snapped actually of him offering help to someone needing to find something"
"Not crowded at all clean for the most part looked to be short staffed but the higher ups don't want to hire people who are willing to work but they will hire someone who's work history shows that they continue to get fired for pretty much not having good work ethic but that is what corporate likes"
"I've only been here a few times, but every time I visit, the store is neat and clean and there are a variety of items. The manager was also very helpful the last time I visited. I only wish that they were able to take coupons other than the coupons that are given on the app."
"I just started going to this store more often for food because it was cheaper. I used to only go every now and then if I was near there, but started going way more often in December and I've had this one heavy set girl with dimple piercings that works there pick on me ever since. The first time was she about pushed me out of the way to stock the can cat food (I was picking some out when she did this). I also was over charged on a clearance item and she got mad about me telling her about it. One time some lipgloss was on sale and I nicely told her that it said that it was for .80 cents and she said very rudely said "I don't think it is, I believe it's actually two dollars" she fakely apologized and threw it in the bag when she was proven wrong. Then there was the time she sprayed disinfected spray on the outside door handle and I touched it while it was wet and it caused me a skin irritation that was difficult for me to get rid of because I have bad reactions to things like that. But last night was the worse, she stood there talking about me (rudely) to another employee, making fun of how I was dressed and that I stunk so bad she could puke, and I just needed to leave before she did. Which is so unprofessional and hurtful; although I knew I smelled of clean clothes it still upset me. I actually cried on the way home, because it made me so mad that I was minding my own business shopping and never said anything to her or don't even personally know her, and she treats me this way. It's bad enough to be followed through the store because of judgemental employees, but being treated like garbage by an employee in the manner she had, is the worse, especially when you have PTSD from dealing with that type of abuse in the past. I honestly think she needs fired."
