"I've been using this as my go to hospital over 20 years and it is not what it used to be at all. The nurses who do iv, the people who get your info been awesome since day 1 to today. The doctors are nice enough but this last time I went they couldn't find problem. The reception people are the worst. Found out it might have been adverse reaction to medicine. Tried to call just to ask if they think that was the case they told me read my results but it's numbers I wouldn't know what levels are high or low or which test is which. They were zero help and very rude. Told me nothing was wrong I'm fine. Going in felt like my insides were gonna pop. Oh in the end I found out on my own gastrointestinal problems from medicine reaction. My friend who had gastritous said he had same experience described it exactly. The hospital prescribed Tylenol and nausea meds which I didn't even take to pharmacy. Waste of time and money. If you have to come here ask the nurses and staff helping any and every question you have before leaving and tell the doctors anything and everything you might have taken med wise even eaten or drank before coming in. That might make your experience better than mine. Luckily I found out the cause it was an easily repeatable mistake which could have led to stomach bleeding and worse. The scariest part is the meds I was having a reaction to is the same type of meds they gave me for my pain so they actually just made my condition worse. Started hurting more after discharge and still in pain days later."
"Dude. This was BAD. I went to the ER for bronchitis. There was blood on the floor in the examination room. I got an EKG for no reason. It was not requested or required. I don’t mind waiting, and they sped me up when I started having a harder time breathing because I’m an asthmatic. But it was an awful experience. The room that they got me back into had blood all over the certain, they did not clean the port to my IV ONCE!!! That leaves me at risk for infection!! They injected my steroid way to fast and it felt like fire all over my body due to the negligence. The staff were complaining about patients in my room in front of me very loudly. I get people are annoying but I don’t want to hear that when I’m struggling to breath. It took them a long time to get my breathing treatment set up. And they only gave me a half a bag of fluids instead of a full, even though I had been having diarrhea and puking for days. The examinations the doctor preformed literally just consisted of him listening to my breathing, he did not do a proper head to toe examination. The whole experience just made me disappointed."
"If I could give less than a one star I would! My father 79 years of went in with CHF and stayed in the ER for over two days they never reached out to his Cardiologist. The staff there put the blame on everyone else. They never assessed the situation and talked about sending him home with this serious issue at hand. Because they do not have room at their hospital. If you love your Family do not send them here."
"I’ll be doing 2 reviews but this first one is specifically about a travel nurse named Melinda. She has horrible bedside manner, she was my nurse. They told me I had pancreatitis and colitis and I was admitted to the hospital. She was supposed to give me an IV and didn’t turn it on for almost 3 hours. My mom and I noticed it wasn’t dripping and told her 2 times. Both times she was very condescending and acted like we didn’t know what we were talking about. Finally over 3 hours later she realized it wasn’t dripping. She didn’t apalogize or anything. She was also caring for an older woman who had sepsis right next to me. Her liver was failing and she was in so much pain, Melinda belittled her and talked to her so rudely. I could hear the woman talking clearly but Melinda snapped at her and said “no one can understand anything ur saying stop mumbling “ she had a horrible tone for the poor woman who was moved to the ICU. She by far is one of the worst nurses I’ve come in contact w. Horrible personality in general, she wouldn’t shut up at the nurses station and was so unprofessional."
