"At check-in the associate tried to run our cc for room + deposit AFTER an authorization (minus $50 deposit) had already been placed on the card that morning (we were using the same card that secured the reservation). This resulted in double authorize on the card and it being declined. The card should have only been ran for the additional $50 deposit that wasnt not already authorized. It makes no sense that you need to authorized payment method twice resulting in DOUBLE the hold on my card. IF I had known this when I made the reservation I could have made sure I was prepared & wouldnt have had to use a different payment method I didnt want to use for this trip in the first place. The associate explaned that its a hotel policy; they do it this way because it was a sold out night. BUT that makes no sense...as the hotel had already verifyied my payment was good due to the authorization already taken! I do not fault the assocoate if this is really a bizar policy set forth by the owners/flag; she's just doing what she has too. Passed housekeeping in the hallway on the way out and was greeted with a good morning and a smile. That was all my interation with staff. The room was clean w/ no complaints. We'll stay here again but with the knowledge of the double authorization at check-in in mind next time."
"My encounter with this establishment was most unpleasant. The management displayed discourteous behavior, unfoundedly implicating guests of smoking, offering no concrete evidence to back their claims. In an unsettling episode, the manager approached us, asserting that my wife indulged in smoking on the balcony - a claim which is entirely baseless as neither my wife nor I are smokers. On top of this, the state of the room left much to be desired, with a lack of cleanliness that was downright off-putting. I strongly advise prospective guests to consider other lodging options, given the disagreeable experience we had at this hotel."
"We stayed here for one night to go to a Texas Rangers event. It is very close to the stadium and will use this hotel for future games/events. It is easily walking distance from the stadium. Room was clean and bed slept well. Service was excellent and helped us as needed. Only thing I have to say is breakfast was not available during our stay. We were only there for one night so it was not that big of a deal. However, if we were to stay more than one night I would prefer to stay somewhere that does offer breakfast. I am unsure if this is a permanent thing or just bad timing. Will stay again for short term stays."
"A reasonably-priced hotel that is fairly decent. The rooms are clean and pretty well-maintained, and also have microwaves, which most hotels do not provide. The staff are nice and courteous, and housekeeping does a fairly good job. Parking is free and ample. A totally smoke-free hotel, which is a big plus. However, the lobby could certainly have been a bit nicer, and the elevators made a bit less noisy. And though the website announces that the hotel serves free breakfast, they only provide granola bars and coffee as breakfast - which isn't fair. A good bang for your buck? Maybe. But just barely. ___________________________________________ We had the opportunity of staying at this hotel a few weeks later, for a weekend. Elida was particularly instrumental in getting us the kind of room we needed, despite the fact that the hotel was booked to its brim for the Cowboys game. Elida and NP, behind the front desk, were always very courteous and helpful."
"Overall the hotel was good, the parking lot is well lit at night with plenty parking. The front desk/lobby area were nice and had ADA accommodations. There is only coffee/juice and granola bars in the lobby. The workout room was good, the two rooms I was assigned both had smells and the restroom floor wasn’t clean. It was close to the theme park and had food places nearby that you could grab food and go back to the hotel and have a nice table to eat."
