"This used to be a nice gas station but lackluster staff has made it what it is now. Half the drinks dispensers will be down or non operating on more than half of my visits. Besides a couple gentlemen that I have seen there for awhile the staff is care free and rude. When we had a gas pump issue that caused a hold on funds we attempted to use for gas, my pregnant other half with our son there as well tried to see if the store would help us. First they stated it would be held for an unknown amount of time and that the bank is who we should contact. Our vehicle was dangerously low on gas at this time. When contacting the bank they didn’t show what thortons was stating should be there. So I myself went back up there to question the charges and things and see why they would send a pregnant woman away with little to no gas. I stated I wasn’t seeing what they said would be there and wanted to see how we could refund or honor the transaction somehow to make sure the vehicle gets home safely. But they stated they can’t just give money away and that they helped her the best they could, mind you on the cameras it showed this “manager” come up and ask someone else to do her job for her and call customer service. So they essentially say there’s nothing they can do and that the money could he back in an amount of time the customer service person and this manager couldn’t specify. This manager also told the customer service rep that I was sent up there although if she did her job correctly I wouldn’t have had to be there. Long story short I called customer service myself and they stated they can delight up to x amount of dollars based on the pending transaction, which would’ve satisfied my main concern that they sent a pregnant woman out with no gas when they had an option to help. This manager is subpar at the absolute best and maybe needs further training or a motivator cause they were rude and didn’t help, when those things are her job. If you an encounter an Aleisha maybe ask for another person cause she’s useless."

"We bought a propane tank from Thornton's last week, and just hooked it up last night. it barely produced a flame, so we called Thornton's to see if we could exchange it. The MOD/shift leader, Curtis, rudely said "You bought it last week and you're JUST NOW using it? i can't do anything for you. Call back in the morning," and hung up. With customer service skills like that, he should be working at the DMV..."
