"This was my first overnight here in Loredo. The hotel, upon stepping out of the hotel shuttle, was very inviting and had a lot of restaurants and shopping all w/ in walking distance of the hotel and one another. There's a Mexican style restaurant called Palenque across the street that I stopped in to try. Everything was delicious. There's also a sushi/ Mexican restaurant to the left of the hotel when facing the hotel from outside. I didn't get to try it this visit, but I definitely look forward to it on my next layover. The staff here, especially the front desk, were very welcoming and friendly. The hotel lobby was inviting and open. The dining area can be seen upon walking into the hotel front doors. There's a nice indoor gym and even an outdoor pool area where the pool is open until 10pm. Unfortunately, during this visit, the hot tub wasn't hot, and when I attempted to adjust the temp on the wall temperature controller, there were some exposed wires, and it didn't seem safe. However, I did bring it to one of the female front desk personnel, and they apologized and said they would relay the message to the person who will be in to address the issue the following day. My room was nice, and the bathroom unfortunately had some unpleasant water and rust stain visible under the hand rail assist. My room had a mini fridge and microwave, which is very appreciated. The pillows were uncomfortable. I personally don't care for the small squared pillows. The comforter and sheets are unpleasant to the touch when laying in bed w/ pajama shorts and a tank top. Felt a little itchy and made it even more difficult to get a good night's rest. The sounds of the busy streets and outdoor activities were hard to ignore. This hotel definitely needs to evaluate the noise from outside and consider some noise- reduction window options. Maybe triple-pane windows that reduce the sounds of busy streets and popular public bars, grills, and restaurants that surround this hotel."

"This is the noisiest hotel ever. In the day time you have house keeping doing their thing, but the walls and doors are so thin you can hear every word and movement. Then at night noisey customers and worst of all a loud a$$ night club that pumps music across the parking lot and through the walls. Police cant/won't do anything to tamper the noise. Will not recommend this place to anyone. Pros: breakfast bar and suaré hour. Cons: everything else."

"Bad experience in this hotel. I was there two days ago. $176 dollars one night for what?(Queen bed) because of those horrible and uncomfortable pillows. When I lay down in bed I felt scratchy all my body. I swear. If you decide to stay at this hotel pay attention to this. Nice breakfast."

"If you want a restful nights sleep do not stay here. The bar across the street has their music booming until 4am If you need to fly an airplane the following day and be alert this is not the place. I’ll have to report this to my company"
