"WARNING ! This establishment is for locals only. Went there with my wife on a Sunday drive, after church. Stood at the entrance while staff and patrons snickered and ignored us. People arrived after us, were greeted by name , and promptly seated. When I inquired if reservations were on order ( for us or otherwise, the hostess laughed and said she would seat us shortly ). At this point I was curious as to how long this charade would play out. We stood at the hostess station for another twenty minutes before four more parties arrived and were seated, with all seats now being taken. A couple of men at the counter laughed and even took our photo with their cell phones. As we left the two at the counter, sharing their photos and good time with waitress, they sternly called to us, “ and stay out!” Those seated near the door laughed, as we left feeling insulted and very unwelcome. The only thing I can think of, which is not an excuse to behave so rudely, is that we were overdressed."

"Whole family got sick less than an hour after eating here. Waitress was rude and unfriendly...she also waited until we were paying for our food before she told us they ONLY take cash, so I had to leave go to an atm come pay the atm fee and then return to pay my tab. Lot of work to throw my entire dinner right after. Instincts leaning towards food poisoning won't be back. 10/10 do not recommend"

"Meats are good, but I got a Christmas box of meat from them from my company. The contents of the box where changed because they didn't have the amount needed to fill the orders, but no one mentioned it to me and I didn't notice until I got home an was not happy at all about it. At least tell me because the one thing I wanted more than all was not in the box and mad for a bad gift."

"Because of the high price of meat nowadays we decided to check out butcher shop. They were very professional and very pleasant. Gave us their number and their meal deal...told us if we ever wanted to order just call and they would get it ready for us. Mind you they already knew that we lived on the other side of Ohio. Loved them and their customer service!"

"I've been going to Brooks Meats for over 10 years. I have never had a bad experience. The meat is fresh and you can't beat their prices. The workers are great; they make you feel like family. If you haven't been, do yourself a favor and go."
