"Had a very positive experience with the Bachman Service Dept. They were very informative, performed a comprehensive diagnostics, and did not try to oversell services. They seemed to objectively separate those repairs that could be delayed from those that needed immediate attention, which has not been my past experience with dealership shops. "Incredible service. I have an old 1998 Subaru and she needed some hardcore maintenance done. While they were fixing her they lent me a rental so I wasn’t stranded. Tony was wonderful in keeping me updated on everything and it really felt like they cared about my car as much as I do. It took six months but that’s to be expected with older vehicles. I will return if I have any other issues. The service they offered me here converted my dad to Subaru so if a new car is in our future he will be coming here!"
"I recently visited Bachman Subaru for a routine oil change and tire rotation. However, the experience was far from satisfactory. After the service, my car immediately began pulling hard to the right, a clear sign something was amiss. I attempted to call the next day to schedule something so that I did not waste any time however I was unable to reach anyone after calling multiple times then sent to voicemail. After leaving a voice mail for Shelby and sending a text message through their automated system, none of which resulted in a returned phone call. When I returned two days later to address this issue, I was met with a rather nonchalant attitude. I was informed that they do not perform test drives after tire rotations - a standard practice in most service departments to ensure quality and safety. This oversight necessitated another visit, where I had to wait an additional two hours while they corrected the issue, reflecting a lack of prioritization for rectifying previous work. Additionally, there was a sneaky attempt to charge me $25 for the tire rotation, despite having purchased the tires from them. It was only after I questioned the charge that they agreed to refund it and asked me to remind them in the future to avoid such charges. This lack of transparency and the need for constant vigilance over billing is concerning. Once my car was ready (2 hours later) they still had not figured out how much they needed to refund me. Given these experiences, I am seriously reconsidering continuing my patronage with Bachman Subaru. Their approach to customer service and vehicle care has consistently fallen short, and it’s time to look for a service provider who values quality and customer satisfaction. Beware and consider your options before visiting Bachman Subaru Service Department."
