"Wonderful Park with a tremendous playscape area for the kids and plenty of walking trails"

"This large spacious park off of Highway 71 East of Austin is worth a visit. It has numerous ball fields for youth sports, and a small fishing lake including a fishing dock. There is another water feature, but fishing is not allowed there. Furthermore, there are activities for kids including a playscape and small climbing wall. A covered pavilion with picnic tables and a barbecue grill is available. Finally, there are water fountains and restrooms but these were closed upon my visit due to the covid-19. Porta potty are available and a hand washing station."

"Plenty of space for walking/running on paved or natural trails. Long or short non-paved trails that are decently maintained (cleared of brush). Nice scenic overlooks. Good spots for catch and release fishing. Spacious sports fields for practice or games. Plenty of parking available. Pretty flora and fauna too."

"We loved all the available play equipment and this park has a great picnic area. We didn't get a chance to hike but will go back to do so. There is plenty of space for soccer or softball practice as a family. Very clean and had a few places to use the restroom."

"Summary: BIG, lots of restrooms, lots of sports fields and 2 huge kiddy jungle gyms. Details: Parking is ample, the trails around the sports parks are very level and wide, great for strollers. Summer will be hot here as there are few shade trees, however there are many water fountains and a few shaded areas."
