"Great place for books, gifts, and random interesting things. I still wear a pair of silver hoops I got there a decade ago and just bought a pair of silver ear cuffs that I love. The smell of incense in the store can be overwhelming if you're sensitive to scents."

"First time visit today. Friend brought me. Loved it the moment I walked in the door and couldn’t wait to see everything they had. Working my way thru browsing, I’m at a glass shelf (literally right in front of the cashiers counter) with all sorts of boxes and statues and other really cool pieces. I’m looking through and found a couple things I wanted to purchase…. That’s when one of the employees started following me around the shelf pretending to put stuff back that hadn’t even been moved “watching” me as I was seriously shopping. I had cool wooden stash box and a beautiful ceramic dish in my hand as I was walking to the end of the shelf, this employee walks around me and takes the ceramic dish out of my hand saying it’s a set and needs a box.. then turns right back around and brings it back with a basket for me to put my stuff in. Not sure if this is her normal behavior or not and honestly it doesn’t matter to me I won’t be back there. But watching me and watching me like a hawk while snatching things out of peoples hands are 2 different things. There’s a lot of ways I could have acted and responded to that as it was very uncalled for and if I really didn’t want to give my items as gifts for Christmas I would have put it back and left. I finished browsing, cashed out and left. As cool as the store is, employees are not and because of that I’ll never be back! I now regret spending my $$ there!!"

"Saying this store is amazing is an understatement. They have a little of everything and things you just will find you have to have. The owner is very nice and has provided a beautiful place to visit again and again. Plan some time to browse at a slow place as everytime you look at a section something new will catch your eye."

"sQecial Media is such a unique and nice little store! I frequently visit to grab incense, candles, and other such items. However, they have so much more than that. Ranging from crystals, statues, books, tapestries, herbs, and a whole lot of other stuff! Items are fairly priced, the store is clean and organized, and the staff is immensely helpful. Definitely one of my favorite places to visit up in Lexington! Plus, they do not require masks anymore which is a plus! Makes it easier to smell the incense and candles."
