"Just went in last night… I don’t know if it’s the lighting in the shop but when I got outside my nails were horrible .paint job was awful .. Nails crooked . Not filed straight lumpy . I am throughly disappointed I am going back today to show them before going somewhere and repaying to have them fixed .. it’s embarrassing!"

"I was here yesterday with my mother and the man that did our nails was SO RUDE! I asked for my nails to be short and round and for whatever reason he kept telling me that my natural nails are already short (which makes no sense because I've had my nails done short many times at other salons) and he kept urging me to get "Coffin nails" instead of round because, "Round nails are for old people." WHAT!? I nearly cried when they were done because I didn't get what I wanted at all. And also my nails are too long. When I finally told the man about it he said, "Well it's too late now, you shouldve told me you wanted them shorter." As if he didnt just gaslight me over wanting them like that from the beginning. He also rushed the process the entire time so I have some powder that didn't get filed under one of my nails. Definitely the worst experience I've ever had and I do not recommend anyone going there. It's clear why the prices are cheap. The pictures are what I wanted with the two changes I asked for and what I got."

"After relocating to Richmond I have struggled to find a nail salon to call home; Unfortunately, the salon I had been using was recently closed, so I was searching for a new salon to call home. From the moment I walked into California nails I felt very welcomed. I loved learning the fact that this couple has been in the same location for 30 years...this definitely spoke volumes to me. They are so kind and personable. I really enjoyed my pedicure and gel manicure. She did not rush and took great care of me. I highly recommend checking them out. Hands down the best in the area and I'm glad I took a chance and stopped by."
