"Flexible scheduling options, very friendly staff, good program to build coding experience"
"I am a few months late in posting but we had quite a disturbing experience at this specific Code Ninjas last summer (June 2023). I signed up my 2 kids for a summer camp and things were ok at drop off on the first day at 1pm. They were both a bit tired from other summer activities and one is autistic so can struggle a little bit more in certain ways. In any case, I got a call at 138pm (I have the time stamp to prove it) to come pick them up. I was told they weren’t participating and needed to leave and could try again the next day. I was at work but arranged for their grandfather to pick them up and then went over there later. To be honest, I gave the place the benefit of the doubt but when I got there they showed me the video footage which showed that this dismissal was completely inappropriate. The video showed that my kids were not being disruptive at all. They weren’t very engaged but they didn’t leave their seats, didn’t talk back or anything. They were doing LESS than they ought, but that was because my younger was tired and the other was not understanding what to do (again, he’s autistic). Yes, a few senseis tried to work with them but, again, all was calm. The video shows the head guy (Corey) then come to and wave them out of the room- with a strong gesture like he was smacking the air in front of them. Then he talked to them outside the room for about 5 seconds then you can see him storm off (not exaggerating) to the front desk where he called me. So they were kicked out after barely a half hour and they weren’t even disturbing or distracting anything! More egregiously, one of the senseis, Allison, was “offended” and “insulted” (her words) that I was asking questions to corroborate what the truth was. She literally said this to my face. I was never inappropriate in any way. But finally she stated, “We’re done here” and walked away. As a parent I have NEVER been treated this way. I’m leaving my kids in the care of these strangers and I’m not allowed to ask questions when they kick them out after 30 minutes??? It took them until the next day to call me staying that they arranged a refund. To his credit, Corey did apologize. I never heard from Allison who truly was the most insulting of all. There is no way I am ever coming near this Code Ninjas again. The one off Rayford is FANTASTIC. Our kids have been there for a while now and they know how to work with kids and have been awesome when my autistic child has trouble understanding what to do. Please please go there instead. I’ve heard that this Magnolia site has had some personnel changes so hopefully that means they have gotten rid of anyone who doesn’t know how to work with kids."
"We enjoyed your time at Code Ninja in The Woodlands. Cory and all the staff are respectful and helpful. They are welling to work with you and help with those busy activities we all face."
"As a parent who is deeply invested in providing my child with a holistic education, I can confidently say that Code Ninja goes above and beyond expectations to nurture creativity, problem-solving, critical thinking, and STEM skills in an enchanting, safe, and inspiring environment. The instructors, Allison, Cody, and Nicky are not just educators; they are mentors who understand how to connect with children on a personal level. Their ability to simplify complex coding concepts and guide students through challenges is truly remarkable."
"Can't say enough. Have been with program since they opened in April of 2019. The staff treats us like family. Kids can grow at their own pace. So many different things to learn. Hours are flexible which helps out busy parents. So thankful for Code Ninja!!"
