"I only purchased three steaks: two Rib Eye and one New York. All three steaks were very tough and I did not overcook them (I prefer medium rare); I was very disappointed since they were not inexpensive. I tried different techniques to get the toughness out but I had only a little luck on the last steak. I hope my experience was not typical for others but I would not go back to this meat market."
"Ranch House is a must place to eat great food!!! The Chef James and the entire staff are exceptional. They also offer delicious bake goods! If you are in the area make sure you drop in and tell James hello for me :)"
"Our group ate at “The Ranch House”. Pro tip 1-Make reservations. Pro tip 2-Ask what they ran out of before being seated. Pro tip 3-ask if they’re short staffed or have new people working. Friday night they were out of T-bone, rib eye and red snapper by 7 pm—making their one-page menu even more limited. Waited more than 40 minutes for food. Excuse after excuse. I would’ve preferred a fast food burger over my dried out $13 hamburger and totally dried out Mac and cheese. Chicken fried steak was completely inedible. Two prime ribs ($27) were each bigger than my face and decent, but lukewarm. Asparagus was cooked good. Green beans cooked to death. Sad salad. Blue cheese dressing was homemade and good. Fine dining prices with paper napkins. Overheard neighbor tables complaints and sending all food back. Saw a group of 7 leave. Wouldn’t go back if you paid me."
"Restaurant was to capacity. Food took a while but it was worth the wait. The food is delicious. We had the Ribeye with scallop potatoes and glazed butternut squash. Tasted the chicken fried ribeye as well. Restaurant is also a meat market! Highly recommended."
