Reviews of Sycamore Community Center
"The splash park is fun for the kids. Glad it's near shade and the playground."
"The rec center is decent. The rental room is a good size with a decent kitchen. All the kids enjoyed the splash pad. The play ground was ok as well, better for smaller kids in my opinion."
"We didn't use the community center for our visit (except the drinking fountain and bathrooms), nor the walking path, just the splash pad and playground. This park was much nicer than I thought it would be, considering the diversified area. The amount of trees in the park give lovely shade for the walking path, and give the whole park some great peaceful vibes. The splash pad is great, but you'll have to bring something to sit on as an adult - towels, blankets, camping chairs, etc. - as there are no benches or tables at all next to the pad itself. The closest bench/picnic tables are down the hill beside the playground. The playground was also a good one, lots of variation in heights for older and younger kids (mine are still under 5). We walked into the community center briefly before leaving. The facilities look nice, and the woman on staff was pleasant and informative. We'll definitely be back, at least for the splash pad, but we'll bring some chairs next time! I also hadn't realized their walking path was under so much shade, so I'll be sure to come back with a stroller to take advantage of it."
"We enjoy having our group meetings there every Friday or every other Friday also our group events. The staff is always nice and allow my youths to play in the gymnasium after the scheduled teams are finished with their practices while the adults continue to meet. We also ask that you keep the present staffers there (Nelson Rowls and the others)."
"Don't waste your time on the splash pad. It's not on during their operating hours."
