"Another visit, another great experience. I had the "Tumbleweed" which is a brisket and grilled chicken sandwich with jalapeño jelly and other stuff that was fantastic. This picture was taken AFTER I ate a bunch of meat that fell of the bottom bun and you still can't see the bun. $12.00, seriously? You can't make it for that. Go enjoy this place and get 6 beer tokens for $21.00 and choose any beer in any cooler for 1 token!"

"We visited Brenham to see the town's Christmas displays and decorations. I found Pioneer Smokehouse on Google Maps and my wife and I decided to try them for lunch. The atmosphere inside is quaint and, if it were not too cold that day, we would have sat outdoors. Fortunately, it was not crowded indoors and seating is very casual. We both ordered sliced brisket. It was good, but, a bit on the dry side. Perhaps it was the weather, so, we'll try them again when temps are warmer."
