"As far as selection goes, this place has a megatropolis of different candies, ice cream, fudge, and other various sweet treats. But be prepared to pay top dollar on everything they have for sale in this establishment. Everything goes by weight (1/4 pound : $9-$10) , except for a few exceptions. On special candy items, or ice cream and fudge for a few examples. Keep in mind that this store specifically is located in South Padre Island, Texas, the prices are insanely High compared to any other place selling sweets. On a negative note some of the things that my family and I purchased from here were pretty good, but there were several items that we bought that tasted nothing like the flavors they claimed to be. For example, I purchased a "Strawberry Cheesecake" flavored piece of Fudge. But as far as my younger siblings, and I were concerned, this tasted nothing like strawberry cheesecake. Lastly, the customer service was poor, and none of the employees that we asked questions to, or interacted with, didn't speak much English. One employee spoke none at all. Additionally some employees would hover near us constantly as we were browsing throughout the store. This felt to me like being pressured to buy something. Or at the very least like being rushedthe way that they would inquire every couple minutes as I looked at different things if I'd like to buy it Worth a look around if nothing else, and if you have kids as well, or just love sweets... then the atmosphere alone is worth a browse through the store. "We stopped in to celebrate one of our kid's birthdays! We loved the candy selection and ice cream! Lots of gluten free options too! Defintely worth the stop! We utilized the free bus system to go from our stay to here! #crazykleinadventure"

"My inner childhood dreams came alive here. Love this place so much. So many different things to try. Loved the variety of sodas you can try here; we opted for the safe ones (not the buffalo wings, pickle juice). The caramel root beer was great. A little pricey but worth the experience and going here atleast once."

"Super used candy store! Very fun to browse especially the retro/nostalgia candy. We ordered the brownie cheesecake shake as they were out of the Nutella. It didn't look anything like the advertisement BUT it was delicious!"

"When you walk in it's all mesmerizingly beautiful! Candy everywhere!!! On the walls, in the air, EVERYWHERE!! They have pretty good prices, but it adds up fast. Like 1/4 lb bag of candy is 3.99 but the only scale they have is at the counter. So you would have to keep going back to get it weighed so you don't end up paying so much money for a small amount of candy. They need to put scales around the store, so you can weigh your own bag."
