Reviews
"It's next to a street. No fees."
"Should have been bigger! It's definitely a fun little thing to find on Maps. Seems very out of place but the flowers around it seem well maintained."
"This monument commemorates the 1990 invasion of killer bees into the Rio Grandeande Valley. The monument itself is super cool to see up close, and is also lit up at night. If you are in the RGV area, it is definitely worth stopping by to see this unique roadside attraction. The monument itself is in front of a city building, and there is not much else around that area."
"It was nice and different. What I didn't like is the fact that two security guards made us (an entire crowd) go in zig zags through their maze of stupid exit barricades. I was annoyed. Other than that, it was good."
"Went to the Hidalgo lights festival. What an amazing display with an enormous amount of lights. The trolley ride was very nice, though I felt like the driver was going too fast for the narrator. The giant killer bee was part of the light display. We definitely want to go back to Hidalgo and visit the killer bee and the pump house."
