"I’ve ordered food for my family once a week from here for a while. I wanted to love it since it’s halal, but it’s very inconsistent. Sometimes it’s fresh and tastes great and other times we’ve thrown our food out. My burger had close to no meat in it and the bread was very old. Every sandwich we ordered last night tasted old and had literally no meat. How does that even happen when the restaurant is known for its meat?"

"I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I was pleased! If you’d had a gyro, this is similar yet quite different. A donner kebab is thinly shaved meat, sandwiched in a waffle like pita bread, stuffed with veggies, sauces, and packed with tons of flavor! It looks bigger than one could think to handle however it was super easy to eat and was totally fulfilling. The great thing was that it didn’t leave me with a heavy feeling at all; rather a sense that I actually ate something tasty and healthy. The fries were great too with the options of the seasons but the best were the sauces!!! Try them all!! There is a yogurt, garlic, and spicy and all pair well with the donner and fries! We got the original donner- as is, and were totally satisfied. I really would not have changed a thing, but they can customize if you wish. Service was friendly however it was slow… so definitely expect to wait a little bit longer than a chipotle! The ambience was great, plenty of seating in a industrial/retro/casual space! The colors are bright and overall pretty clean. Overall GDK was pretty good, I’ll be back for sure and will hope they open other locations!"

"Ok this was our first experience. Let’s begin with the positive-the meat and service was excellent. When I think of a kabob I think of skewer with meat and veggies. This was shaved chicken and beef that was cooked on a skewer-the seasoning was great. This was served on a waffle type of ‘bread’ with cabbage, onions, & tomato-with dressing. The waffle may have been too crisp for the sandwich to stay intact. The serving was large. The service was good. The price seemed a little high. Will we come back? -for me this is a maybe."
