"The visit I'm describing is from a few months ago. I have never taken my vehicle anywhere but the dealership for service and had always received AMAZING service. I recently moved to Louisville and went to Oxmoor Hyundai. At my previous dealership, my car drove so smoothly after an oil change and inspection. I noticed that my car did not drive any smoother after the oil change at all, which made me question if the oil had even been changed. Along with my oil change, I requested for rotation and air pressure balance due to one tire having a larger pressure. My tires were all checked off on the paperwork indicating this service had been completed with tire pressures listed; however, just a few miles down the road I checked and there was no difference in the pressure from when I took the vehicle to them. I immediately took my car back to them. They then unhappily fixed the pressure right in the drive in area. The check-in staff was friendly but everything else was a huge disappointment!"
"I took my car in 2 days ago for an all points inspection. They told me I needed an air filter. I told them my husband will buy it and put in in for me. Fast forward to the next day, my husband goes to put in my new filter that we bought. My husband finds that none of my fluids were filled up. Matter of fact… they were below the minimum line. I called them to talk about it, but got an apology and off the phone they went. I paid good money for them to inspect my car, top off fluids, rotate the tires, and change my oil. I am pretty sure the tires weren’t rotated either. I would definitely pop the hood and inspect some things before you drive off. I don’t think anything will be done about the technician who skimmed on my vehicle. And, It takes so long to get an appointment to begin with, so I expect my service to be excellent."
"Buy a car from this dealership at your own risk. My engine was one affected by the class action lawsuit for excessive burning of oil. To qualify for an engine replacement has required 3 visits to the dealership. Throughout this process I have been left without a car for a total of 4 weeks. They couldn’t offer me a loaner during this time and the proposed I pay for a rental at $45 dollars a day that Hyundai corporate “may” decide to reimburse. If you must buy a Hyundai save yourself the headache and do it literally anywhere else."
"My car broke down (check engine light flashing) had it towed to the dealership. They are telling me it will be a month and a half before they can even look at it to tell me what is wrong with then who knows how long to have it fixed. Absolutely ridiculous! The crazy thing is it broke down on Friday night so I scheduled an available service appt for Monday morning and was told because it was towed I would still have to wait the month and a half. I have purchased 3 cars from them and this will be my last!!!"
"DO NOT BUY FROM THEM OR TAKE YOUR CAR FOR SERVICE HERE! They have had my car for a recall for over 3 mos. I am disabled with a 14-year-old daughter and need my car as my husband is about to leave for a month on business. They have not tried to keep in touch nor resolve the frustration from this. There was a fake response on yelp about this issue but when trying to follow up with them, no response. A total rip-off of a service center. Who keeps a car for three months and still can’t tell us when we’ll get it back??? They have ruined a great chance to upgrade our truck because we only have the truck and cannot be without it for the down payment on the new truck as we have to have transportation for m husband and kid. They have more than inconvenience my family and about to even more so. Horrible horrible way to do business. They do not care about their customers at all! Update: I was finally offered a loaner vehicle until I get mine back and the woman who called me to give an update was extremely nice and so was the guy who brought out the loaner."
