"We used to like taking kids here, however lately the quality of cate seems to have decreased. My 5 year old came home today saying how embarrassed he was because one of the staff announced in front of all the kids that he had pooped his pants. We had been called and were on our way to pick him up, but they should have respected his privacy and been more considerate of his feelings. Not cool. We will not be going back."
"My daughters went here and had such a fun time. The staff were very kind and patient. The older kids will do crafts like making slime or doing little projects which is so neat to me for a drop in playcare. I would highly suggest WP to anyone!"
"I can't speak to the issues raised in some of the other reviews, but we truly have not had that experience at all. We have always encountered very friendly, sweet staff- and our two boys Townes and Owen absolutely love going here. It's a treat for them- and we use it get them to behave so they will be "allowed" to go. Chris has helped us many times along with a few other sweet gals. I have never seen an odd mark on either of my kids, nor have they ever said anything bad happened- and they would definitely say something if so. I hope this location sticks around!"
"DO NOT BRING TAKE YOUR CHILDREN HERE! I had an excellent first impression and my son has been here about four times. The is review is based off the last two times he attended for 4 hours each. My conclusion is people always interview well when they know they’ll need your trust later. A little girl dug her nails into my son’s face leaving deep and bloody scratches on his right cheek. The staff acted very concerned and assured me the situation would be handled. My question was Where were they and why didn’t they handle the escalation because unless that child already shows significant behavioral problems, that type of thing doesn’t happen that quickly. Either case they’re being paid to keep the children safe. The second time my son came home with a bruise right under his right eye and the staff claimed “ran into the corner of the shelf” and they “forgot to write an incident report.” I wasn’t able to speak to the manager because as I was learning about my son’s injury, a woman from Childcare Licensing walked in and asked to speak to the manager privately. The childcare workers also don’t seem to take any pride in looking professional at all. I recognize that working with small children is inherently full of baby spit and the like but self respect is something people who work hard usually have. I trusted them and I wish I hadn’t. I will definitely be reporting them. They try to get you to buy a package to lock in your money since no one stays if they actually care about the level of care their child is getting or give you a “courtesy call” when you’re child is injured to give you the impression they are excellent communicators but don’t fall for it."
"I’m really upset to have to post something like this but my Godson went here for over a year. This place was okay at one point but has gone severely downhill as of the past several months with the most recent change in ownership and staff. Staff were making unsubstantiated claims about his behavior (I’m talking no documentation for the incident, refusals to share video footage after saying they would, etc.) Untrained staff somehow had the nerve to suggest he may be autistic and/or ADHD because he acts like a 2 year old! These staff have been witnessed yelling at the kids and other staff, allowing children to hit each other, etc. But since my Godson hit a staff after being restrained for not wanting to take a nap they decided he probably shouldn’t come back. But thank goodness we were already looking into new daycare centers because of concerns of physical abuse as well as neglect as he came home multiple times having not even touched his breakfast but came home starving and continuously came home with injuries with no documentation as to how they occurred. If you have any other choice in daycare, please don’t send your kids here."
