"This is a ripoff. You purchase a membership and continue to pay even during covid. Then you find out that even with 12 sessions paid for, they want to charge you $20.00 per month to put the membership on hold and still have access to the 12 sessions you have already paid. They will not refund the $840;00 I already paid. Does anyone have any ideas about how to get my money back? At 70 years old I cannot afford to just give a company $840.00 dollars."

"They contacted me to schedule an appointment for a massage so they can reactivate my membership and take my money after the coronavirus shut them down, then they couldn't keep the appointment so rescheduled, then canceled that appointment 1 hour before I was to arrive. They are still taking my money and won't answer my requests to cancel my membership"

"DO NOT SIGN UP FOR MEMBERSHIP!!! Was a member at Lakeway for 3 years. Had so much trouble last year scheduling appointments that I had built up several hours credit that hadn't been used. Talked to management about suspending my monthly membership until I had used up some credits. Manager said they would be honored at that location until used up. Just tried to schedule an appointment only to be told I have no credits remaining - they had been deleted when new owners took over before end of year. I was told that was the Massage Envy policy. Absolutely no communication or notice!! Can't find anyone who will talk to me. Just stole the money I guess. Go somewhere else."
