Reviews of Ripley's Believe It or Not!
"This was my first time ever going and it was really cool. I enjoyed seeing and learning about these odd and unique people and things that we have in out world. I think it was awesome."
"I have to say, this experience was memorable and I had a great time. However the mistakes cannot be overlooked, before I begin with the negatives, I want to say the staff was beyond helpful and you could see that they really enjoyed their job. At least I hope they did right? We had a friend that was in a wheelchair and they made it very accessible for us to get in to place to place. Attractions were awesome, some of the stuff that I had seen there. I had never seen anywhere else. Took us about 3 hours to get through the whole thing so really felt like we were trying to get our money's worth taking time to look into all the sights and attraction. This place is not perfect, however, broken animatronics, very overpriced, and it really feels like once you've seen it once. You don't really feel the need to go back. Back. Some of the attractions especially into Ripley's illusion felt very half baked and even though I could see why they would have a concept like that when it makes you pull out your phone to take photos just to make the illusion work. It takes away from the allure of the experience because it's kind of like well if I have to pull out my phone to make an experience work then there's really no experience! The gift shop is full of knick knacks that you can pretty much find throughout the city with the exception of certain Ripley's items that you can find within the gift shop. It's very overpriced and I don't recommend it. The wax museum is cool if you like celebrities which I don't. Overall I would say this is a place that I would recommend for a first timer who has never been to any of the Ripley's attractions anywhere in the US like myself. But I don't see myself ever coming back here knowing what it has to offer."
"Family vacation to San Antonio wanted to take them to a Ripley’s Believe it or not. We had a Great Time! Took in all 4 attractions recommend you do the same if you have the time."
"First time & the family loved it! We got a package deal with Nightmare at the wax museum and illusions lab which was awesome! Overall a good place for family day/time"
"I had a great time! It was pretty cool seeing some of the exhibits. Not to mention laughing with the family. If you go during the week there is no wait. And it’s right near the Alamo. It’s definitely a place to come for the first time. Come… laugh.. enjoy!"
