Best Western Plus Lake Dallas Inn & Suites 305 Swisher Road, Lake Dallas, TX 75065

"Water takes a while to heat up in the morning, and the shower pressure isnt the best. Outside that, rooms were real good. The front desk lady however......whew. I walk in, only customer in the lobby, lady's on the phone.....no problem. Minutes go by, eventually, another lady comes in. Within 30 seconds, lady tells whoever is on the phone that she has to go, she has customers. She hangs up, then tells me she's gonna help the person who came in MINUTES (she seen me, I was right at the front desk maybe 3 or 4 feet from her) AFTER ME first. That was wild. In about 4 years of consistent weekly traveling and hotel stays, this is the 2nd time anything like thats happened. It isn't even the hugest deal I suppose, just real rude. Wouldn't have been an issue if she just said "would you mind if I help this person first?" For whatever reason or another. But to just say "hey, I know you were here first, but back of the line" is wild to me."

"Very nice hotel for the money. Seemed nice and clean. Maybe just a little older feel but rooms were clean and comfortable. We did have to change rooms because the toilet wasn't working but she was very accommodating and upgraded us to a suite. One of the workout pieces wasn't working right, but not a huge deal."

"Our family of 4 stayed at this location due to its proximity to the Harry Potter:Forbidden Forest Adventure in November 2023. 3 floors. We had a family suite. Beds were nice and comfortable for us. Sofa bed was a sofa bed. Linens for the soda bed were in the closet. Pillows were fluffy and not too soft. Bedding was not super light, which I liked. Just enough weight to be cozy but not hot. Elevator worked fine. Parking was plentiful. While the room seemed a bit dated, it was clean. The AC worked great. The water pressure was low, but got the job done. Shampoo, body wash and conditioner were installed in the shower with small bottles and soap on the counter. Breakfast was continental. Their coffee machine was really good though. It made mochas, cappuccinos and lattes in addition to hot chocolate and regular coffee! I want one for home! My biggest commendation has to be for the front desk though. Winny was AMAZING! We had booked through a 3rd party because I wanted to use my keycash rewards. I booked 3 months prior, but when I was checking in, the 3rd party didn't want to pay the hotel. Winny was told by the 3rd party to either collect the payment from me or kick us out! She said she was not going to do either of those things because the problem was on their end, not mine. She didn't get it fixed with that call, but it was fixed by the next day. I'm so grateful that after driving 14 hours we weren't turned away because the 3rd party couldn't get it together. Obviously, I won't be using the 3rd party for Hotels anymore! I would absolutely stay if I ever have reason to be in the area again but I would call and book the room directly through the hotel to save the hassle."

"Great hotel for the price. The rooms were clean, beds comfortable and a full breakfast in the morning. We also received a snack bag which was nice for the 5 year old. Not a lot of channels for the TV but the ones they had were a good variety with cartoons for our 5 year old and movies for us. We didn't use the pool or hot tub but they looked clean and well kept. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is a bit noisy and we moved our truck up by the office instead of in the back. Once inside the room it was quiet."

"Very happy with my stay at this Best Western location. Dawn and Winny were both wonderful and helpful. Property is a bit dated, however they have completed a huge amount of upgrades, and with the exception of a few cosmetic things, it's mostly new. Not sure where the negative comments before were derived from as I experienced none of these in regards to smells and bugs, and I check EVERY hotel room I stay at thoroughly for these sorts of things. Breakfast was decent and what you expect at this style of lodging, and I loved the automatic latte / cappuccino machine! Bottom line, this location is a great value for the price and you can't go wrong staying at this location."
