Reviews of Hand and Stone Massage and Facial Spa
"If I could rate a 0 I totally would, this company refused to pay me as I was an employee and decided for myself it was not a good fit for me as they did not accommodate to my schedule. They refused to pay me and deleted my history of working for them for the few days I was in training. It was a few months back that I worked for them but they refused with me on giving me my accounted hours pay. Do not work here or give them your services. I felt extremely discouraged by the workers as they did not have proper services nor respect as humans."
"I have left messages via their website phone contact number, used the on line contact request, and have physically gone to the location requesting assistance with a problem with my account. After not resolving anything, I have now been waiting since January 30 for a cancellation form. Even though I was physically there, requesting in person to cancel the automatic payment (which takes at least 30 days) I was told I would have to wait for a form to be emailed to me. Since nothing had been received, I made a follow-up phone call on February 8, 2024 and still have received zero assistance. I realize people are busy. However, I have left messages on their office voicemail, use their website with the contact request, and physically gone in person. Obviously, It benefits them to drag this out. Unfortunately, this is just one of quite a few issues I have experienced at this location."
"I didn’t even go into this place for my massage and they left me with a bad experience trying to schedule an appointment. I had my first appointment booked for yesterday which the spa wanted to reschedule a few hours before my original appointment as the therapist they had scheduled for me doesn’t do the service. I gladly accommodated them to today without knowing my husband had plans for us. When I called back to tell them the new time wouldn’t work for me they said they would have to charge me the cancellation fee (50% of the service) to make this change now as it’s within the 24hr policy. This whole need to reschedule started with the spa requesting this within 24hr of my appointment. How was I supposed to follow this 24hr policy when they couldn’t and when it was less than 24hrs to my appointment in the first place? And why do I need pay to reschedule an appointment they requested in the first place. I unknowingly gave them a new time that wouldn’t work for me and they couldn’t make an exception when this whole reschedule was started by you? This left a bad taste even before going to this place. It’s the principle you follow. The employee told me it’s free to reschedule within 24hrs if the spa requests it (for whatever reason) but not when I said the new time wouldn’t work for me?"
"Very unfortunate experience. My fiancée has gone to this location two times in a row and has had problems with the service. The first time after asking multiple times for more pressure, the masseuse would not give her more pressure. To make up for it, the manager called and offered a so called “free upgrade”, not clarifying what this upgrade was, we were led to believe it was a free massage. After calling to schedule and then going in for the massage, no one clarified she would be charged. Upon leaving she was charged $130, a price she was not made aware of until after the service. I understand companies only want your money, but this is a scummy way to do it. Taking advantage of a poor experience and using it as a cash grab to wrangle in another vulnerable customer is not a way a company should do business. I’m sure the massages are great but be warned. Ask about costs, clarify at least three times, and don’t let them take advantage of you."
