"I was skeptical about staying here since it looked like an older building and thought it wasn’t going to be nice. But, as soon as we went to the front desk Stephanie greeted us and helped us check in, she was soooo awesome, super helpful, gave us great recommendations and gave us some popcorn she had made as a little treat. We felt like royalty thanks to her! The room was clean and cozy. The bathroom is huge and there is lots of counter space! Valet is available, so we didn’t have to worry about finding parking. Lots of restaurants close by. It was actually a great stay. Thank you Stephanie for making everything so smooth and enjoyable. We recommend this place!"
"+ Fantastic location. Walking distance to many downtown attractions and restaurants + Super friendly and welcoming staffs + Morden interior design. + Pool table, hoop machine, comfortable lounge - Sound insulation can be improved. Room window glass was single pane and a bit old. Even at 10th floor, the street noise still can be heard clearly. Similarly with the noise from neighbors opening / closing their doors. Info about parking: no dedicated garage. Need to either valet or street parking. There were plenty of street parking nearby and Sunday is free."
"We’ve stayed here before a couple times, although rooms are small they are dog friendly and there’s no dog deposit if they’re under a certain weight and up to two dogs. Location is great, valet staff is fast & friendly Previous times front desk staff had been sweet too however this time around the girl working the front desk Stephanie recognized my husband (old acquaintances) every time were have been in the lobby I hear her greet all the other guests but all she does every time she sees my husband is ask personal questions about her ex (who is my husbands friend) and proceeds to just give me a super rude face and doesn’t even bother to say hi like the rest of the staff. Very unprofessional. For the price we’re paying we would think staff would keep it professional and not be shouting questions at guests about “have you talked to my ex lately?” And also just learning a bit more about manners and customer service skills. It’s Sunday afternoon and the bar is closed however since we are in the heart of downtown there’s other places within walking distance."
"Check-in was okay. The room was in a very bad state, the beds were dirty as they just made the bed instead of washing everything, which was gross. The bathroom did not have toilet paper, no shampoo, no conditioner, containers were empty. We had to go down and ask for more and we had just gotten there. Rooms should be fully packed and ready. The closet door in the bathroom would not close or even move. The room needs a lot of maintenance! Don’t hang from the popularity and the name of the hotel, give good service and represent well. We used to love and recommend the hotel, but not anymore after this. It is not the first time and we have given a lot of feedback before, no changes have been made. That was our last attempt to give this hotel an opportunity. Who cares huh? These types of people/hotels do not care, they are already “popular “."
"I loved everything about the stay except the incredibly tiny rooms. Luckily, we were only staying one night and spent most of it at a concert. The Valet was extremely courteous. The front desk was professional and helpful with suggestions of where to eat within walking distance. Rock Star Hamburger Bar was great! My only, single complaint is more of a concern. The walls are textured tile but the shower and restroom floors are a smooth, incredibly slippery tile. I heard my husband say it was slippery from the other room. Then when I went to take a shower the next morning, I almost fell, too. Overall, a great stay."
