"Spent 5 nights here. Not a single day did we get our room cleaned. The first day we did put the "Do not disturb" but other than that I had to speak to reception about having my room cleaned. Had to ask multiple times for towels that were never brought in until I went down to reception personally and got towels and toilet paper. Was told that they would leave a note about cleaning the room my last day, which was today but still nothing. Really disappointed since the stay was not cheap."

"This is one of our favorite Hotel chains. We love the comfortable rooms, continental breakfast and large lobby. We stay here, Van Horn and Fort Stockton Texas."

"Hotel rooms were very clean and the breakfast was great. Only complaint is from the people staying here. We had someone complain that we were talking too loud which we weren't but your obviously staying in a hotel and there's going to be noise such as people talking, laughing, television, or doors opening and closing. If your that sensitive to noise then maybe next time stay at an AirBnB problem solved. Tip: DO NOT GO TO THE VILLAGE INN NEAR HOTEL, ITS HORRIBLE!!"

"Good modern hotel. Excellent person at the reception. Plenty of restaurants around the place. A little highway noise if room face front."

"Very very bad check in service. I booked my room via the IHG app. Checked in the day before the check in date because they send me an email to check in. When I arrived, I was not checked in at all ap er desk clerk. Desk clerk would not allow me to check in without seeing a physical credit card. And since I didn't have it on me, I had to drive home to pick up my credit card. It was at 5pm and I was tired after a long day of work at the hospital. I would have loved to bypass Holiday Inn Express and check into the hotel next door but they would have charge me for one day. My complains are: 1) I booked through the app so they should have verified my care already. Usually they do a pre-charge so no one have ever asked to see a physical card. 2) I have stayed at the hotel before for a week at a time. 3) I am staying for a week so if they really need to see my card they should let me check in first and have me bring my card later. 4) The worst complain is I am a Platinum member. I felt I was treated like some thief using a stolen card. Overall this left me with a bad taste as to the service I received at HIE. My next stay will be with the competitors."
