"We dined here in October 2023 for a celebration dinner with 3 other couples. I'm just now writing the review because I believe in going through channels. Since my emails to the general manager of the restaurant have gone unanswered, I'll share via a "review". The pickled vegetables and the glazed carrot were the highlight of our meals. If I can sum the experience up in one word, it would be "salty". Two of the steaks were salty and one was sent back. The couple who ordered the pasta dish said there was an ingredient in it that made it salty. And, the spinach dish was a little "salty". My lobster was good and the other dish of salmon was good. The meal was disappointing, to say the least. The fact that our experience and feedback has been ignored is very disappointing. We won't be back!"
"Had a great meal at Bob's. Not the cheapest place I've ever been, but the visit was worth the price. Spotless, nice atmosphere, and outstanding service. (We dealt with Lindsey and Chase. Both of them were professional, friendly, and thoroughly helpful.) I'm a real fan of a good steak, and Bob's delivered. Cooked exactly to order, tender, and well-seasoned. One of the top 2 or 3 steaks I've had in my relatively long life. (My wife ranked her steak as the best she'd ever had.) I know not everyone can afford to eat like this on a frequent basis, but I highly recommend Bob's Steak & Chop House when any special (or even not-so-special) occasion might provide you just the excuse you need to splurge a little. You won't regret it."
"Overall the food was very good. The pickles on the table are interesting. Not quite pickle but not quite cucumber. Nice gentle mix between the two. I started with the lobster bisque and it was so good. Lobster chucks were very tender. Next I had the lamb chops and they were really fantastic. Tender, juicy and flavorful. The carrot and potatoes were excellent. The only bad part was that my boss said that his steak was over-seasoned and was much too salty. Overall the food was very good. I'd come again"
"First time visiting here and it has became my favorite high end spot in the city now. My wife and I showed up a little early to figure out parking and explore the hotel a bit. Parking was 9 dollars for 2:30 hours in a city parking garage opposite side of the restaurant. I think there might be Omni parking somewhere but I didn’t look. The whole vibe of the hotel is high end. As soon as you walk in the lobby and see the ground floor it makes you ready for the dinner. We were seated in a booth which was very comfy and our server Troy was amazing. The entire night he had good recommendations and took care of our every need. We had 2 drinks apiece. I had the margarita. Black rock salt was a nice touch over the normal kind and my wife had a fresh flower in her Rum Punch. Both of us commented that the drinks felt worth the $$ which rarely happens at high end places. I felt great with that purchase. I ordered the Bone in Kansas City strip which was perfectly cooked to medium. Flavor was spot on for a bone in strip and the value for money was great. My wife got the prime filet 12 Oz. She asked for medium well but sadly it came out well done. As soon as we mentioned it to Troy he recognized the same and took it back to the kitchen. The manager Alicia was very apologetic and brought the replacement out within minutes. Top top notch service as it was a busy Saturday night and a table top party of 12 and another of 10 were seated near us so I did not expect the attention and timeliness for the replacement that we got. It blew me away and made me a very happy patron. If you’re debating coming here, go for it. All around 5/5 from me and I will be back. Great job Bob’s and keep it up."
